The Tea Party should be a 3rd party, forget the commies and rinos.

Where I have been stuck is mostly derived from the warnings of the Republican elite. You know them: Why not unite and get behind this candidate? Do you want four more years of Obama? Or my personal favorite: Well, of course he’s not my first choice, but c’mon…our country surely cannot withstand four more years of Obama!

The facade of Romney supporters here on FreeRepublic is ripped off!

There is no reason for anyone in California to vote for Mittens. He won’t carry the state, anyway, so we might as well either leave the top spot blank (undervote) or write in Sarah.

I didn’t say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you...

I won’t sell out my principles for fear or spite. Mittens can KMA. If Mitt gets the nod, I’m writing in Palin. The pubs have a lesson or two to learn - the hard way is good by me.

I have a few insights as to why we can unite. I recently went to a Ron Paul meeting (this week) in Fayetteville NC and was in contact with a Tea Party in GA which is also a Ron Paul support group... These Ron Paul supporters and out-of-their-ever-loven-minds so to speak as they are full of conspiracies, hate all the other candidates and are almost Democrats when it comes to social issues.... If Republicans and Independents, along with America loving Democrats do not or will not do what is best for the Country in spite of the sorry state of both the GOP and DNC, then we deserve what our own “self-interests” present us after the November vote count.

No one likes the two-party system.

But it's what we have. We do not have a parliamentary system with 4 or 6 parties ... one of which might be just your cup of tea ... to coalesce and break up and usher in Prime Ministers and usher them out with the " No confidence" vote. We do not have proportional representation. In Europe, if a political party gets 5% opf the vote, they just might get a member of parliament ...selected by the party!

We have "winner take all." If you "vote for the best candidate regardless of party" two things can happen: he'll win and so will his party or non-party, appointing a whole bunch of people you might not really like to those positions over you that really run your life ... which elected officials do not do. Or that candidate will lose. But not before taking away a vote that would have put the better man in (See GHWB's tragic screw-up in the election of '92, completely at the hands of Ross Perot, who is the man who really selected Bill Clinton.)

You have recognized that the Republican Party is dieing. It ain't pretty. It smells bad. What we have to figure out is how we can transition to a constitutional party without handing the keys to the kingdom to the Democrats for the next quarter-century .... by which time it is eminently possible there won't be a kingdom.

My marching orders are from the Constitution. Mitt and Obama both are enemies of our Constitution. Neither man will get my vote.

I am planning to write in Sarah and vote Conservative down the ticket.

P.S. Even if Sarah endorses Mitt, it will not change my mind. My tagline states my position.

The Tea Party should coalesce within itself into a new party or one that already exists.

Constitution Party, anyone?
