This is a faulty poll. It preassumes Romney holds certain views within the poll questions.

He does... Depending on the time of day, who he is standing in front of and what way the wind happens to be blowing at that given time..

Otherwise your spot on ;)

Got the link from sister. She’s more moderate than I. At least I’m not siding with Obammy.

I answered the questions according to conservative philosophy, and the result was that . . . "I side with Mitt Romney on 97% of the issues in the 2012 Presidential election."

So this shows that Romney is at least running as a conservative. How he acted in the past, or how he will govern in the future--those are different questions.

I “sided” with Mitt 91% of the time, or 41% (points) higher than Myth himself.

Well.Romney agrees with me 94%. But that will change if he gets elected and flip-flops like a mother.

Yeah. I’m not ready to post an opus yet, but this site is far too pro-Romney for me. I’m cutting way back on my time here.

Is that because there are 3% fewer folks attacking Romney than Obama? I've read some desperation in posts by folks thinking Romney is the lesser of two evils, and it is usually clear that the posters are torn between a sure trip to hell and one that only takes you past the gates, but haven't seen a lot of real pro-Romney action.

If you want everyone to agree exactly with all your ideas, you are at the wrong site. I disagree with many about many things, but I cherish FR because it offers an all-sides look and insists on debate, both polite and not so polite.

You make many astute posts and I enjoy reading most of them - this one has me scratching my bald head.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just frustrated because it seems that any time I say that I cannot vote for a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage, pro-socialized medicine candidate, I get jumped on by a dozen Freepers who think I am the embodiment of evil.

I don't expect people to agree all the time, but I find this place depressing in it's current leanings.

I share your frustration - we are in an untenable position. I enjoy and respect your comments and analyses of the topics and would hate for you to drop off the RADAR. You are one of the FReepers that can be relied upon for a solid look-see at the way the winds are blowing. I’d hate for you to become so frustrated and disillusioned that you throw in the towel - without folks speaking the truth and offering up slants that might sway an occassional person, we are doomed. That’s the Leftists’ plan and hope - to be unopposed by geting us caught up in their chaos. Keep yer chin up - while there is breath, there is hope.

“whats the point of beating him with someone that will likely continue his policies?”

“likely”? by your own admission you are uncertain. If Obama is re-elected we can be certain. A re-elected Obama, no longer having to face the voters would be, to quote Reagan “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”

sure, Romney is not the conservative we wanted, but to equate him with Obama is just mind boggling to me

ok..

WILL continue those policies.

happy now?

I can’t vote for the gun grabbing, baby killing, liberty snatching SOB.

That goes for Obama to.

if you don’t vote for the person with the best chance of beating Obama then you are voting for Obama

I understand you’re wanting to be a pureset but you are actually helping Obama get re-elected

I also understand the utter futility of these conversations

then stop wasting your key strokes.

If you want to support the baby killing, gun grabbing liberty killing candidate (either one) you go right ahead.

This country is going off the cliff with either one at the helm.

I’m locked and loaded. Lets get this train wreck over with so we can do what needs to be done.

Rebuild this country.
