What is bringing this country down is millions of grossly ignorant and dull people reading tabloids and watching reality TV.
My BIL and his socialist NEA wife watch what they think is the news every night and are convinced there is a Christian conspiracy to turn the USA into a fundamentalist theocracy. He is an athiest and she is Jewish.
Each time I point out some Marxist statement by Obama or one of his disgusting fabrications, my BIL denies them. I then send him youtube video of Zero saying it. He admits it was said, and promptly denies the next one that comes out his mouth. It is truly amazing (and surreal). No matter how many times he is forced by the facts to admit Obama lied, he still believes the man tells the truth.
Talk about classic cognitive dissonance.
And our doom.
When asked whether he would seek ratification of the CRC in the Presidential Youth Debate, Obama expressed, at least, some support for that goal: “It’s important that the United States return to its position as a respected global leader and promoter of Human Rights. It’s embarrassing to find ourselves in the company of Somalia, a lawless land. I will review this and other treaties and ensure that the United States resumes its global leadership in Human Rights.”
