“The boys”, as Higgins (John Hillerman) called them,

The 'lads'.

He did a good job portraying Ike in that movie.

Selleck is one of the few you can tell is same on and off the screen, no pretense what so ever.

Two and a half men (John Cryer is a Republican) and the Fox Sunday Cartoons (mostly The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad) are others.)

Culture killers! Hollywood doing their worst at their best.

Was that the one where he meets his little daughter (that he never knew he had)?

To: carriage_hill; All
Tom Selleck can do no wrong in my book.

Though not a huge 'Magnum, PI' fan. I really enjoy his work in 'Blue Bloods'. For its strong conservative family message in an age of glacial cultural meltdown.

Also a big fan of Saul Rubinek and William Devane in anything. So the 'Jesse Stone' series is a must see.

I guess I'll have to stay up late and catch the encore of Sherlock tonight.

Us “old farts” catch some afternoon *naps* so we can stay-up late, once-in-a-while. LOL.

Yes, he did in that episode. It was a touching moment in the series, IMO.

Yes, Saul Rubinek and William Devane are great in anything they do, plus there are some new (to me) actors/actresses in the “JS” Series which are also very, very good. This is a winner for TS all-around; he chose well since he co-wrote and produced one or two of the 7 so far. “BB” is a great series, and I have the 1st Season on DVD.

The season finale (43mins) of “BB” is here:

I watched it; excellent movie with quite a few character/plot “twists & turns” from the other 7 in the series. The ending screamed “another movie to come”, but I read it’s TS’ last one for CBS:
