I was wondering...

Given that our illustrious President has been tearing down every established tradition of this great nation; has the time come to replace that tired old theme "Hail to the Chief" with something more modern and perhaps appropriate for the Chief Executive of a new era?

We could even honor the great Robin Gibb on his very untimely passing.

I propose that the next time you see the President makes his way to the dais that instead of the traditional fanfare that instead, "Jive Talking" or "Woman Man" be played.

Thank you for your consideration

"I started a Joke" - BeeGees

I started a joke
Which started the whole world crying
But I didn't see
That the joke was on me, oh no

I started to cry
Which started the whole world laughing
Oh, if I'd only seen
That the joke was on me

I looked at the skies
Running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed
Hurting my head from things that I'd said

Till I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh, if I'd only seen
That the joke was on me

I looked at the skies
Running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed
Hurting my head from things that I'd said

Till I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh, if I'd only seen, oh yeah
That the joke was on me, oh no
That the joke was on me, ohh

Smiling Faces

by The Temptations

Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend
Smiling faces show no traces of the evil that lurks within
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don’t tell the truth uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

The truth is in the eyes Cause the eyes don’t lie, amen
Remember a smile is just A frown turned upside down
My friend let me tell you Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don’t tell the truth, uh Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
Beware, beware of the handshake that hides the snake
I’m telling you beware Beware of the pat on the back
It just might hold you back
Jealousy (jealousy) Misery (misery)
Envy I tell you, you can’t see behind smiling faces

Smiling faces sometimes they don’t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces Tell lies and I got proof
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don’t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces Tell lies and I got proof (Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes) (Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes)

I’m telling you beware, beware of the handshake
That hides the snake
Listen to me now, beware Beware of that pat on the back
It just might hold you back
Smiling faces, smiling faces, sometimes
They don’t tell the truth

Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

Your enemy won’t do you no harm
Cause you’ll know where he’s coming from
Don’t let the handshake and the smile fool ya
Take my advice I’m only try’ to school ya

“Movin’ On Up!” [the theme from the TV Sitcom ‘The Jeffersons’] fits better. As the closing line goes, “we finally got a piece of the pie”...

Well, if we are into TV and movie themes how about the Sopranos theme or maybe Rosemary's Baby or the Omen
