Seriously do you realize how idiotic your statement is? Of course people are invested in their own lives. They use Facebook to share things with their friends and family just like they used to do with snailmail letters then telegrams and then phonecalls and then with e-mail and now with Facebook.
Facebook is just the next step, nothing more. There have always been nattering nabobs down through history like yourself poopooing each of the advances in communications.
