'G.I. JOE' YANKED OFF SUMMER 2012 MOVIE SCHEDULE, WILL BOW IN 2013

G.I. Joe won't be going into action on the big-screen this summer, after all.

The Hollywood Reporter says Paramount Pictures yanked its sequel "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" from its June 29 release date and rescheduled the movie for March 29 next year.

this plot is nothing like real life. the GI JOE unit would be killed in a helicopter accident. then the pres would take all the kudos of the men who took out the terrorist leader.

think about it, obooba is not bragging, he IS the only one still alive after that operation. So he has to blow his own horn. and the last person to do that was larry sinclaire.

I found it at the link...it is the Australian version...it is the ‘International’ one on the right hand side that runs 2:24. It’s a bit different, and worth watching.

Seriously? Not even a Christmas release? Did it suck that badly that it got pulled at this late date? That's a lot of retooling time. It's one thing if they were just worried about the competition.

Maybe they were worried about how high the bar got set by "Battleship".
