BT is not a chemical pesticide. It is used in organic methods. It is a Bacteria (Bacillus Thuringiensis) that destroys the guts of certain insects and catepillars. It is safe for people and other wildlife like birds. It is also considered safe for many beneficial insects. It is also used as a mosquito control in standing water.

When you made habanero powder, did you do anything with the seeds? I dried the peppers the other day, now I’m wondering if I should have seeded them first. TIA.

I didn’t exactly grind them to a powder, more flakey actually and I ground the seeds also, the seeds are very hot.

Give them a few days...you may see new growth shoot forth from what is left of the stem...a neighbor (from the blackest pit of Satan’s kingdom) lets her dogs loose to plague others broke two of my tomato plants. I left them alone (there was only an inch or so of stem left), and they both grew back...a KBX and a Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye. As an added bonus, the b*tch got fined by the cops for violating the leash law...she’s been laying low for a bit.
