One of DC Comics oldest heroes is super-coming out.
The original Green Lantern - a DC Comics mainstay for the past 70 years - will be revealed to be a gay man in next week's issue of "Earth 2."
Alan Scott - formerly a married father of two who first appeared in 1940 - tips readers off to his sexuality early on in the comic when he gives his boyfriend a welcome home kiss.

Beat me to it. Fitting, huh. Jim Parsons, aka Sheldon Cooper, at one time was talking marriage with his long time “friend.” While channel surfing a couple night ago, I happened to see he was on Leno wearing bright red lipstick.
This just beats all. Of all the superheroes they could have chosen, they picked the one who doesn’t wear external underpants.
Somebody could have great sport with this.
One of the great secrets of the Nazis was that they had the equivalent of a homosexual civil war between their “butch” homosexual men, many of whom joined the brown shirts (SA), and the “pink” (effeminate) homosexual men they persecuted.
Even the leader of the SA, Ernst Rohm, was a butch homosexual who was caught in bed with his catamite lover, on the “Night of the Long Knives”, when most of the leaders of the SA were arrested and murdered.
Now this being said, doing an online comic book about the war between the butch and pink homosexual superheroes would be highly amusing. Make the butch ones Nazis and the pink ones communists.

Anybody stupid enough to believe that? If he really wanted to be "groundbreaking" and push reality, he'd make the most depraved super-villian homosexual. There's enough history and reality to choose from. Such as John Wayne Gacey, Jefferey Dahlmer, etc.

Yes, it’s a damn fool idea, but it’s already a proven technique for long term social engineering. It gets laughed at to start, but that’s never stopped the engineers/manufacturers of consent.

Perhaps the best course is to insist all book sellers and stores place this with the other adult/sex material out of the reach of minors.
