I watched the entire game and he did have quite the generous strike zone the first 4-5 innings.
But hey, a perfect game is a perfect game. Congrats to Matt Cain.

Yes, the strike zone was a mile wide, and he got a couple of excellent defensive plays. Still, 27 up and 27 down!

I’m still waiting for a game where both opposing pitchers throw a perfect game. That would be a doubly perfect game! (They have those all the time in soccer!)

There have been two this year. There were none last year and there were two in 2010.
