AUBURN, Wash. Some of the main restrooms on the Green River Community College campus are being transformed into gender neutral spots this week to raise awareness for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Why the change?
"Lets say theres a transgender born a male transitioning to be a female and there is male in there and assumes it might be a female and they don't like that, and harasses them. That student is not going to use the restroom anymore, said Dani Chang, GRCC Director of Student Services.
While there hasnt been an issue yet, Chang said the college wants to be proactive instead of reactive. The college also said it has very few single stall bathrooms, which is why it is making the transition using larger restrooms.
Administrators say the change could be permanent if all goes well this week.
Sign above the toilets..
‘Men and standing Transgendered, Don’t forget to raise the seat’
Yikes! I’m glad you’re O.K. You may use the quote if it helps, of course!
I can’t believe I’m asking this,but here goes:
Don’t men have to sit when they need to go No.2?
Whay do men have such a hard time peeing without making a mess?
Guys might *think* being in that bathroom might be sexually attractive...until they hear a woman take a dump. lol.
Becuase most guys don’t have urinals at home.
It seems like it would be messy.
The reason I asked that question was because I went on one of those sites that were mentioned and someone said something about peeing standing up and then sitting down to defecate.
