AUBURN, Wash. – Some of the main restrooms on the Green River Community College campus are being transformed into gender neutral spots this week to raise awareness for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Why the change?
"Let’s say there’s a transgender born a male transitioning to be a female and there is male in there and assumes it might be a female and they don't like that, and harasses them. That student is not going to use the restroom anymore,” said Dani Chang, GRCC Director of Student Services.
While there hasn’t been an issue yet, Chang said the college wants to be proactive instead of reactive. The college also said it has very few single stall bathrooms, which is why it is making the transition using larger restrooms.
Administrators say the change could be permanent if all goes well this week.
It’s weird how commie ‘RATS are so facinated with each other’s plumbing. Male or female. It doesn’t matter.
Nonsense. It’s not gender-neutral until a drunken guy has taken a dump in the shower. THEN it’s gender-neutral.
The college is actually creating an artificial demand for DEPENDS.
Lets say there’s a male transitioning to be female and he uses the women’s restroom. He enjoys flopping his junk at a 6 year old girl. How are we to deal with the transsexual’s feelings? The most important issue is making sure the transsexual is comfortable.
Just tell everyone to use the nasty gas station restrooms down the street. problem solved.

I suppose they also want to make guys sit down to take a whizz. If they remove the urinals, the real men should a) leave the toilet seat up, b) leave it down and piss on it, or c) piss in the sink.

Aw, Cr*p....Now I have to write another letter to the BOARD of a community college....having once been an elected community college Board member myself I feel it is my responsibility. Not to mention, GRCC is where I STARTED my after high school education!!!
Ted Bundy would have loved this policy. When he murdered a Green River U. woman years ago, he had to hide behind a bush and jump out at her. Now he could merely wait in the next stall.

I was attending GRCC at night when Bundy was on the loose during that time....it was a very scary place at night....we would walk in GROUPS. And, what you say is SOOOOO true. (And, I would like to use it in my letter to the Board, with your permission!)
