So, what’s their track record with this type of prediction in past years?

Ten Brands That Will Disappear In 2013
Why isn't Kodak on this list?
They're already in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will most certainly go Chapter 7 in 2013.
Stock last closed at 17 cents ...

I always turn my TV to the local news at 5:00 P.M.

Although I can’t stand her show, I usually get the last few seconds of “Ellen”. About the last thing I always see is an American Airlines ad.

What is it about companies going out of business and sponsoring the homosexual agenda? Maybe they are grasping at straws or maybe their sponsorship isn’t helping.

8. The Oakland Raiders

They will become the Interstate 5 Raiders, traveling up and down the Pacific coast looking like the convoy from Mad Max, they will find various college stadiums, high school fields and public parks to play football games.

looking like the convoy from Mad Max

And that doesn't include their fans!

Maybe Kodak is just in a negative position and looking to develop soon. Then again maybe it’s already disappeared for all practical purposes. Making film in a digital world is like making buggy whips in an automotive world.

“2. Talbotts”

I was an avid customer of Talbotts during the period 1981 to 1991. At that time they were a rather small retailer known for their “preppy”, conservative styles, made from natural fibers: cotton, silk, linen, wool, and cashmere. They had high end prices. I carried three credit cards from clothiers, and they were one.

In the early 1990s they began to compete with retailers catering to a younger clientele and trended away from classic styling and natural fibers for which they were so well known. I stopped buying from them in the mid-1990s.

The Talbotts should return to their original premise as a clothier. There is an open niche for the classic styles made of natural fibers. They would get me back as a customer, that is for sure.

Of the other two credit cards I carried, only one still survives - Nordstrom. The third, I.Magnin disappeared quite a while ago.

I was also wondering about that. They do address their last years right and wrong predictions but they have been running these pieces for a while.

Anyone stupid enough to loan $12.7 million to Salon gets what they deserve in the end.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened to Save the Baby.

And hey, whatever happened to Cardui and Black Draught?

Just so they keep making Moon Pies!

I agree, and 0'blamer's loss will be in spite of the all too numerous predictions I have read here that "Romney can't win".

One's hate for Romney should not cloud the fact that O'Zero is the worst president in American history. That dead guy from "Weekend at Bernie's" can beat 0'Hussien.

Al Gore’s Current TV was on life support even before it fired its only bankable star, Keith Olbermann

I stopped reading right there.

“Similarly, Yum Brands! (NYSE: YUM) dumped A&W as sales were miniscule compared to flagship brands KFC and Taco Bell.”

Then why is there still 2 A&W’s (in the same building with Yum’s KFC) here in town ?

LOL.

It's possible the brand name will be sold to someone else after the company ceases to exist.
