Falling Skies was good...

Eureka: Will Wheaton will go down as the biggest tool of SciFi. (Bigger than Bill Shatner). I could have sworn that Dr Parrish was going to get smacked.

Futurama: They should have left show cancelled. Also I'm getting tired of the Nixon bashing on that show.

Falling Skies started the season good. More alien, less soap and alpha conflict.

I hope they keep it up. The new Dallas provides plenty of soap.

oh....geeze...

you know Nixon was NOT a conservative. He thought he was royalty...above the law...had the white house police dress like european palace guards.

the whole Wage and Price freeze was right out of FDR’s socialist playbook...

that being said he was head a shoulders better than LBJ.

‘Continuum’ is pretty good - a Canadian series that started a few weeks ago.

RE: Falling Skies

The after-air discussion [2nd Watch, hosted by Wil Wheaton] is interesting. It has some of the actors commenting on the episode.

It is live a few minutes after the conclusion of the broadcast.

The second season of Falling Skies is darker and edgier, which is a good thing. What I wish they’d change is the syrupy, melodramatic soundtrack that sounds like it was lifted from the LifeTime Channel.

The problem I see with the Nixon bashing isn’t political, it’s chronological. He’s been dead almost 20 years, out of the White House 20 more, it’s way past time to move on. Nixon is not a funny punchline anymore.

Hey Guys how about some advice? I’ve watched about 8 episodes of the TV series “Jerico”. Does it get any better? It seems to bog down without going any where. It’s like “General Hospital” in that you keep expecting something to happen so you keep tuning in... (yes I know it is an old show but I don’t get out that much) ... Thanks

I think his hateful persona might be the reason that they softened his character (ie, himself)) on Big Bang Theory.

Yeah, it is really good. I almost stopped watching it after the first 5 minutes because I was sure it was going to go after the "EVIL Corporations", but as it turns out, the protagonist works for the Corporations and the anti-corp terrorists are the bad guys!

Who would have thought? Almost every Canadian show I have tried to watch over the past few years has had some kind of liberal agenda attached to it, usually gay. This show has none of that crap! Well, maybe a bit. The Corporations of the future do have a bit too much control over society. I guess time will tell. I am going to watch it until they go over the edge and she (the protagonist) switches sides and goes after her former bosses and tries to tell us how the EVIL Corporations are trying to control our lives...

We're starting to get details about Doctor Who Season 7, which begins in August. Episode 1 will be titled "Asylum of the Daleks". Some episodes are starting to have details on IMDB

It is Canadian, so it won't be on DirecTV, or any other American sat/cable systems - yet. Sci-Fi Channel may pick it up in a year or so.
