About five weeks ago or so, Governor Palin endorsed Senator Orrin Hatch in his primary contest with Dan Liljenquist.
I join other conservatives like Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Tea Party leaders like Sal Russo in encouraging Utah voters to return Orrin Hatch to the U.S. Senate. Since Mark Levin has always got a way with words, read what he recently told Senator Hatch: I feel that you would be a terrific elder statesman to a lot of these other young guys who Im going to be pushing in these other states. Im with Mark. Thats spot on.
We need Orrins conservative Reagan-like leadership and our new crop of conservative senators Richard Mourdock, Deb Fischer, and Ted Cruz might need some friendly advice finding their way around the Senate.

They’ll have to drag the old fool out of the capital in a stretcher. He ain’t go’n voluntarily.
Best thing Utah can do is dump this (now senior Republican) out of the Senate and send him back to his dinosaurcactus farm.
Too many droolers in there now and he's not going to get better!
More like Liljenquist failure. Too bad we missed an opportunity to have a real conservative replace Hatch.
I’m more and more in favor of term limits all the time and I like my congressman.
I don’t like or trust any of them. Term limits is the only way to go with congenital criminals. Politics was not meant to be a lifetime career in the Republic any way. These people were supposed to serve a term for their constituents then go back home to earn an honest living among their constituents.
No outlandish retirement programs, no better than the average citizens health care, none of this crap of the laws only apply to thee not to me, NO MORE.
2 terms only for a senator, decrease the terms to 4 years instead of 6. 4 terms only for a congress critter; already 2 terms only for president so that makes every one even on time in any particular position. I don’t care if they choose to run for a higher or lower position after their term; but there will be no super separation from service packages. No retirement benefit for serving in any elected office at the national, state, county or city level; no after service perks or bennies.
Disturbing news. The media sided with Hatch for reason of his friendly history with the other side of the aisle for decades, and with Ted Kennedy. Dan didn’t have machine money. The Tea Party didn’t quite get the job done for Dan in Utah, who was left hanging on the hook by Sarah PAC ads on top of an already up hill fight from the beginning.
Hatch needs to go. His voting record is hardly hardcore conservative. Let some fresh blood finally get a chance if it’s genuine conservative.
Another poster boy for: Term Limits!
I’ve listened to a few Liljenquiest interview. The guy was too shifty imho
Ok, so let me get this straight...
A well-known guy that has been the incumbent Republican Senator in Utah since the beginning of time has a massive lead in the polls against some random guy with two years in the State Senate that nobody has ever heard of.
And the big poll lead is because Palin endorsed the guy that has been the incumbent since the beginning of time?
Riiiiiiiiiight.
One of the more egregious cases of reverse Palin derangement syndrome.
Hatch needs to go-yea, thanks Palin.

What, exactly, does being a drooler mean to the Mittbots?
Here was a man (Hatch) that is gonna be primaried for the first time ever...HATCH...wake up and smell the coffee....and by a relative unknown backed by TP groups (why? beats the heck out of me...they didn’t do their research on Liljenquist). Everyone was ready to dump Hatch, give the brass ring to Liljenquist (fake TP....did you even see the video) and just drop him like a rock in the ocean.
While others whacked-n-hacked Hatch, people like Levin and Palin stepped in to defend him. Listen to Levin’s 20+ minute defense of Hatch and you’ll understand why he supports him (and Palin).

In Utah if you don’t get at least 60% of the state GOP convention delegates then it’s a primary to settle it. Convincing a small group of delegates is not the same as convincing a WHOLE state. TP put a lot of stock on beating Hatch and came up short in the convention....by a few dozen delegate votes. Close, but no cigar.
Palin has had a past with Hatch and he’s considered a mentor or sorts to her. Give Hatch all the flack you want but he gave us Thomas for the SC and even HE ACKNOWLEDGED PALIN’S HELP (just like Mourdock, Fischer and Cruz). When everyone was ready to dump on Hatch for a relative unknown (and a tax-n-spend compromiser to boot) Palin was there to help. Hatch owes her a favor now.
...welcome to politics old chum. Cheers!!!!

Governor Palin is the reason Hatch is winning. I said that a couple weeks ago, and several Freepers here (in denial) argued with a straight face that Sarah had absolutely nothing to do with Hatch success.
So many in denial, even right here!
You are in denial, dont you feel very very foolish? I will pray for you
