Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) talks to Peter Robinson about his career in Texas and his race for the White House. Perry speaks candidly about his presidential aspirations, and how they were thwarted by back surgery and a late entrance into the race. He also talks about why Texas is succeeding and California is failing when it comes to jobs and the economy. Is it as simple as low taxes and simpler regulations? Find out.

Also be blessed by having a legislature required by the state constitution to balance the budget, having a tremendous amount of oil and gas reserves and high oil prices.

Did he mention his liberal leanings and how he attacked conservatives who failed to agree with him?

I made my decision regarding Rick Perry long ago. From his nanny-state EO on Ghardasil to his advocating for ILLEGAL aliens, he is far too liberal for me.

Washington has learned a lot from Texas faux conservatives on looking the other way while millions of illegals tramp into your state. Just keep taking money from the new cheap labor patrons and keep the people mesmerized by all the God, gays and guns talk.

Other states have learned as well.

The Peoples' Reublik of Kalifornia, following Rick Perry's lead on how to skirt federal law, recently passed laws that give in-state tuition & financial aid to ILLEGAL aliens. Kalifornia also made it ILLEGAL to use eVerify. But, as Rick Perry would say, those who disagree 'don't have a heart'.

Exactly why I think you more than many others may be interested in what he is saying and doing. Texas is doing quite well, your very negative opinion of him may not become a glowing approval, but possibly you may see him in a slightly less negative way. Also much of what he is saying you will probably be surprised to be in 100% agreement with him. I have never been a huge Rick Perry fan, and thought his run for the White House was a bad idea, but compared to what creatures the Democraps have run lately, I am more pleased with him than opposed to him.

I do realize you are in San Diego, and finding a Texan is coming to California to invite businesses to a more friendly state is not good for California, but his comments on California are also quite refreshing and you would probably agree with those as well.

I understand many find him too liberal on too many topics. The whole interview is a good way to view his opinions and actions with more explanation. I don’t expect you to change your view, but thought you may want to see something other than what the MSM pukes out on a regular basis about someone they totally loathe.

Cheers!
