I sincerely believe that your mayor needs his bolts severely tightened. Will join you in prayer.
P.S. If anyone tries to get between me and my ice cream, he/they is/are in serious trouble. :)
It’s a joke about our mayor barring 2 liter bottles of soda, that’s all.
hah - actually my cat chased it away. She’s cute ... but she’s crazy when it comes to defense. Better than a guard dog. I’m not declaring this over until I get a long form birth certificate from that bobcat.
MY GOD! It's astonishing
I don’t know what she’s made of, only that she’s a Walmart Special. And she’s a mama’s cat. I get reports from my kids of her screaming by the door when I’m gone.
That’s how my Casper cat is very loving. I found her on my deck last year and took her in this past March. Today she was fixed. She is two. I love her!
Hey! I’ve seen that “cat” on my deck lots of times. Mostly at nite. I’ll have to give Dan a call. ;o)
THE CAT IS A FEMALE BOBCAT.
I'm uploading photos now w/a really bad internet connection ... stay tuned for tomorrow.
It’s a play on words. The Maine Coon tail type is referred to as “bottle brush”, and they’re known for being spectacularly large and foofy. Therefore, the “bottle” is a 2L.
OK, good luck with your quest. I’ll check the thread in a couple of days to see how it turned out.
Thanks!
Not a Felis Rufus cat.....bobcat....it has a tail....
Its a domestic
Ive got a 46 pound bobcat on my wall next to my 5X5 whitetail
22 posts before sanity
God bless ya
FReepers must be purty urban....lol
Bobcats are called “bob” cats for a reason.....no tail....your pic has a tail
Some sort of domestic....well fed....with savannah markings
Look it up....and as someone seen wildcats in the wild over half a century
None are that fat...
Thanks Moltke ... Comcast coming Sat morning to fix coax .... not going to bother w/upload today on lame Mifi connection ...
That was my ex-wife’s pet name.....:o)
But wardaddy is right. Not a bobcat .
Stay safe !
(FYI I'm not sold on the tale, and you won't be either when you see all the pictures. In that picture it's tough because it's grainy ... I certainly don't see anything longer than 4 inches - whatever it is
This cat has the same 'gut' and well fed look. But it's not fat - it's anatomical in females of some subspecies (it's not a gut - their rib structure is different from a domestic. It's actually strength.) There are more pictures of this type of bobcat if you scroll to the end of this post. (I was able to upload them because they are thumbnails from the internet - very small files as opposed to my Driod Razr pics)
******
Please hold off until I can get the other 15 pics up. A couple comparisons look like twins.

re: the picture I originally posted. There is no tale longer than 4 inches. In fact, that picture is the only one you can see what's probably 'A' tale at all. I can't get the other pictures uploaded to an image host because my connection is screwed and even getting text to FR is spotty. Comcast comes Saturday morning. Will post when I can, maybe tomorrow I'll get into town to a public connection, definitely Saturday.
You're tight though MANY of the bobcats you see are very lanky, graceful to some extent. But not in the pictures below. What you do see is something fundamentally different about the anatomy. And what you do not see is the face of a Coon cat.
If there's a tale - then of course it's over, but I don't see anything that can be called definitively over 4 inches in the picture I originally posted. In the other 15, you will not see a tale. Could be hidden of course ... but in all 5 or 6 pictures where the cat is walking? I never saw it in living motion? The camera never caught it?
Here are bobcats that look a lot like the one in the yard the other night.
If you're convinced there is a tale longer than 4 inches ... the conversation is of course over ... I'm neither convinced nor even leaning towards tale-longer-than-4-inches.
Until then - have a great couple days ... and don't make me call the dissenting voices catters or talers And don't be calling me a bobber. The veracity of my bob pics are in indirect proportion to the validity of the birth cert images. I promise not to photoshop out a tale if I see one. Which I won't. But I promise anyway.
