Juan Williams CHOKES On Hannity. CHOKES!

Posted on 07/17/2012 9:35:46 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Did anybody see Juan Williams choke so badly he laughed at himself. It's not possible to defend Obama.

It's laughable. John Sununu laughed at Juan and said.. "You're struggling"

Juan seemed to agree.

The debate was over outsourcing jobs outside of the United States.

Juan defended outsourcing by saying when you invest in the global economy some of the money makes it back to the US.

Sununu said the worst thing Obama has done in send money to Brazil to drill for oil and prohibited us from drilling for oil here!!! How ridiculous a policy can you have?? said Sununu

Juan then said "It seems to me if we want oil that's not going to go.. put money in the pockets of terrorists and not going to create tensions in the middle east.."

Sununu interrupted. "Drilling in the US puts money in the pockets of terrorists????"

Juan responded "Yeah" and said "Keep it out of.. uh end our dependence on Middle Eastern oil.. uh encourage oil development elsewhere."

Juan then said.. well Obama granted leases for drilling in the Dakota's. And Sununu had to correct Juan. Not in the Dakotas. That is private property. Juan then has an oops look on his face.

Sununu then says we need to get rid of restrictions that Obama has placed on drilling for shale. Juan then says people have environmental concerns.. and that people would like to go to the beach without coming out dripping oil.

Sununu then corrects Juan AGAIN. Shale gas is inland. LOL!!!!!!!!

Here’s the REAL story: RINO NH U.S. Senator Warren Rudman (R) sold Souter to Sununu on the promise of his personal friendship with the judge....that Souter was very conservative. Souter voted conservative on the NH court....so Sununu took Rudman’s word. Rudman knew Souter was more to the left than he showed in his court rulings, but lied to Sununu & Bush 41. That’s a fact. That does not let Sununu off the hook, or Bush for that matter. Sununu is ashamed of getting played by his “friend” Rudman....and will not talk about this, or defend himself to this day.

There were plenty of conservatives on the bench for elder Bush to choose from. J. Harvey Wilkinson would have been a good choice. Bush likely knew what he was getting with Souter. The absence of a record assured Republican support for a moderate to liberal appointee. Note that when Bush the son tried the same thing with Harriet Myers the conservatives stood up. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice . . .

Bush 41 had no idea Souter was a liberal. Old man Sununu should have known better, but Sununu & 41 were lazy; I’ll give you that. I’m not trying to cover for Old man Sununu cause he was a PIA back in the day, the guy had a huge ego, but Rudman played him. Souter was CJ of the NHSC. There was every indication that Souter was a conservative. Years after the fact Rudman laughed about how he tricked 41 & Sununu & put Souter on the court. I was working for the republican party at this time in the northeast & I was around all these players. Sununu should get a kick in the ass for this situation, but I hate that Rudman often gets off without any blame when it was him who set this mess up.

Thanks for that history. And whatever is in Sununu's past, he's certainly doing a good job right now. In some ways he reminds me a bit of Gingrich. As quick-witted, fast on his feet. Gingrich is much better, of course, but Sununu is up there in terms of his ability to debate liberals.

The whole Souter thing is a complicated mess. And the fact is old man Sununu will not really defend himself in public when the Souter question comes up. Rudman really screwed Sununu over. And Sununu should have known better since he knew about old-maid Souter’s personal life ! That alone should have been a tip-off to Bush 41 & Sununu that Souter was not fit for the court. Damn shame....the whole thing.

If only Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell was ‘up there in terms of his ability to debate liberals’...

yeah, really

It makes me wonder how these dufuses get elected.

There are so many talented conservatives in this country, why do the Republicans so love to elect spineless mumbling political hacks?

It really blows my mind.

Thanks for the inside picture. It goes to show we should always demand judicial nominees have a long and consistent history if we are to truly validate their philosophy.

Isn’t this Sununu the son of the Sununu who got Souter on the court?

Sure is a lot of Sununu on TV lately. Possible VP choice to satisfy us conservatives?

Poor Juan, you can take him off the liberal plantation at NPR, but you can’t take the liberal plantation attitudes out of Juan.

Juan Williams was hired by Fox to present the Left’s point of view for comic relief.

This is the old man, former NH governor Sununu. Sununu’s son was a NH congressman & one term U.S. Senator.

No, this Sununu is the father, not the son.

The son was a NH senator for a time, but in no way could the son match the father and do what he is doing as a Romney/GOP surrogate on tv.

As for the Souter pick, you need to read some of these nearby posts. It was Warren Rudman who fooled Sununu about Souter. Rudman brags about it. This is not to absolve Sununu, but it is to state the truth, that former Senator RINO Rudman was the evil brain behind the plot.

Sununu’s mistake was in trusting Rudman. The other thing is that Souter did appear conservative while on the NH bench. But he was a liberal in sheep’s clothing and there were some hints, some clues, but nothing blatant and overt.

Juan is dumb as a box o’rocks...gives new meaning to the “deer in the headlight” look.
Spews leftist talking points for Fox but doesn’t even know what he is saying half the time.

Give him time. He's off the heroin, but he is still on methadone.

Sometimes the man asks himself the right questions. And when he gets beat fair and square, he takes it like a man. I'd take him over Christine Todd-Whitman.
