Make Penn State litigate to get it reversed.

Which it would have been.....but now they have the virtual "Sword of Damocles" hanging over them, one screw up, and it will be the DP for them...perhaps the NCAA knew it wasn't possible to give the DP now, but they'll just wait for the slightest infraction to hand it out in due course.

so you’re saying you’re ok with homosexuals having access to children... even though they are 20+ times more likely to commit child molestation

As of now, Spanier still has his tenure as a professor at Penn State.

I’m in no shape or form defending Penn State....

What I think is over the top is basically two people, one who is dead...caused this terrible evil to exist and continue...

The players are the ones who are going to get hurt the worst and they had nothing to do with this....

Sure fine then 60 million, no bowl games, but to take away their wins just seems like too much...the players won these games and they will carry the burden of the punishment ....

How so? Are you referring to current or past players? The current players can resume their careers at other universities. As far as the former players, many of them were able to play in the NFL because of the reputation Penn State had at the time they were there, so you can't take that away from them.....and just because in the official records the wins may not be there, doesn't take away any of the memories and sense of accomplishment they may have had while there at Penn State.....and even if they are somewhat punished, it pales in comparison to the punishment that Sandusky's victims received.

Huh? Not even close.Did you even bother to read what I wrote? Or what you even wrote? The NCAA is a private organization for compliance of student athletes and Athletic Departments. If a regular teacher did what Sandusky did it would be beyond the reach of the NCAA UNLESS the coaches and AD knew about it and actively covered it up. Otherwise it is up to the law and the universities enforcement. No where do I even come close to saying what you said I said. You however most certainly did defend Pedo State.
