I always laugh when I read someone talking about too much sodium or MSG etc. etc. I don't know about anyone else but I like a good old fat hamburger or hot dog once in a while and care not about the ingredients. I go by looks and taste. Being I only go get one a few times a year, do you think I worry about too much sodium. Let those that go there three times a week or more worry about that stuff. If a person only ate one hamburger a year, what difference does it make it it's that big one called the “heart attack”? I doubt if that will actually give you a heart attack because it has fat and sodium.

Yes, the fried chicken is very lightly breaded and so you actually taste the chicken. I’ve been eating it since probably 1970 something.

the only 2 that are actually open right now are the ones at the UofMN student union and the airport.. I would recommend not basing your views of the place on the one at the school, the worst one ive ever been to

man, I really shouldn’t have even said anything. Like I said to haircutter, I totally agree that one burger isn’t going to kill you. As far as MSG goes, It really does give some people wicked headaches, my wife being one of them. And i’ll never be against a hamburger, but i dig it a lot more when i grill it myself, and load it with tomatos from the garden.

I too mostly make my own but unfortunately I don't have access to any good tomatoes, let alone home grown ones. Although Maui is wonderful and I love it here enough to be here for over forty years now, most of the veggies and fruits are shipped here green and only ripen on the way or in the stores. They turn color but the sugar content and flavor is missing.

It’s truly yummy. The plain chicken sandwiches are delicious. But the “minis” are my favorite...chicken on bite-sized yeast rolls, with honey butter.

I like to eat healthy and watch my carbs, but you have to treat yourself once in a while, or life is pretty joyless. Yesterday at Chick Fil-A I splurged and got a brownie. It was a chocoholic’s heaven. Thick with frosting, and so rich I could only eat a couple of bites.

Do you thank......and why would I continue to support some one who does a 180 and is against what I believe. That would pretty much be the same as A RINO republican in my book!!! I would not however try to put him out of business I’ve even bought Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

It is excellent. I was surprised how good the food is. I ate at a Chic-Fil-A for the 1st time when the Democrat Fascist mayors of Chicago and Boston started squealing about them. I guess I should thank them for bringing CFA to my attention

Like most fast food, laden with sodium to cover up the inferior ingredients

Spoken like a true blue food Nazi who has never eaten at a CFA. Did you get lost and stumble in here by mistake?

You can’t grow tomatoes in Hawaii?

I wasn’t referring to those patrons who are supporting Mr. Cathy’s beliefs. I’m talking about those who are claiming the food is like unto ambrosia, although it is tasty, merely because they disagree with same sex marriage.

Don’t believe the “sodium laden” remarks. I need to add some salt to their waffle fries; I don’t think they add ANY salt to those. The chicken sandwiches are NOT too salty at all. I had my first peach shake yesterday (I usually only drink water at fast food places...gotta cut back somewhere) and it was AWESOME. Tasted like real ice cream and milk, not like Mikkie D’s “shakes”!

I live in Kihei down by the ocean and the only tomatoes we can grow here are Romas and I think that is do to the thick skins so that the bugs don't like them. Hawaii has a heavy bug problem and with tomatoes it is White Flys and Spider mites etc. Now, up county on the mountain side they grow tomatoes good enough to sell in the stores but expensive and still picked a little green and ripen in the store. Never as good as a vine picked ripe tomato. Of course one can put pesticides on them but then, who wants to eat poison.

“CFA manages to fry chicken breast pieces and not dry them out.”

I ate at mine for the first time this past Monday. I got the spicy sandwich and figured it would be dry and stringy to chew. What a surprise, it was soft and easy to chew. It was very spicy and the tomatoes were thick cut instead of paper thin. The lettuce leaf was so big, I had to fold it over to get it in the bun.

It was a fine sandwich.

We don’t eat fast food often, but it is one of the best options.

CFA,

Now I know why the “Family Guy chicken” fights so hard....to avoid being a CFA menu item!!!
