Is it any good? We don't have any in MN.
Yes!
Likely the best fast food and by far the best fast food experience in the US. IMHO
Do fat puppies fart?
The biggest bummer was when spent a day at Cedar Point in Ohio, and the Chik Fil A in the park was closed. It was Sunday, and even there they followed their policy.
Very. And generous portions.
I thought it was good. How hard is it to do chicken?
Anyway, I have had worse (KFC) and paid more FOR it!
Best waffle fries and shakes I’ve ever had from a fast food restaurant. Their chicken is tasty, but I don’t eat chicken from fast food joints anywhere other than CFA; so, I don’t have a point of comparison.
Like most fast food, laden with sodium to cover up the inferior ingredients. 1400mg for one sandwich? no, thanks.
I searched, and their website says there is one at the MSP airport, and one at the University.
Will double check, because my son was planning to take me there for lunch on Saturday.
What's noteworthy is that it's the only fast food place where the employees all speak English, unfortunately that's a rarity here in Texas because of the illegal infestation that the liberals have encouraged.
Yes. Very. Very. Good. Really popular/prevalent in the south, and they have a few specialized items that increase the draw—like waffle cut fries and their own great lemonade. Foil bags for their sandwiches are a small but significant extra touch to keep your yardbird warm until you get back to the office. I could write a novel. Next time you head for warmer climates you need to drop in and give them a try.
Yes, good. I ate my first ever CFA sandwich there a few days ago and have been back twice, yesterday and today. Even if the food was only adequate I’d have gone back, but in each case it was in the very good to excellent range.
CFA manages to fry chicken breast pieces and not dry them out. Been going to a new one nearby (finally) and not had a bad piece of chicken....even the signature sandwich is juicy, not dry.
Well, bless your heart. They have planes that fly south, you know.
And in addition to expressing your patriotism, the peach shake, spicy chicken sandwich, and waffle fries would be worth the trip.
Had my first CFA last weekend. Specifically, these.
Hellaciously good.
had to drive 55 miles to get a chick fil A in Greensburg PA. and it was worth the trip...not only a good sunny day, but the mountains were beautiful and traffic light...but chick was wall to wall people...and gas here just went to $3.60 gal....go figure?????????
I haven’t had a chicken sandwich from them in 23 years but still remember how good it tasted.
OH HENRY...(are you a candy bar?)
One sandwich was not going to kill you but then you sound like a Liberal troll...betcha ya R.....
Boy, guess that must have put the ol’ “Grease Low Level” light RIGHT out, eh? :)
Have to agree, though; their food is outstanding.
I eat there frequently. Good food!
Their nuggets are real breast meat.
NOT chopped, formed, pink slime dyed white...
Not as yummy as a liberal's tears
Only started going there this week, so I’m a 100% new customer. The spicy chicken sandwich was amazingly good. Wish I’d known what a good place it was years ago. Many people have been mentioning something about a peach milk-shake, so I’m thinking of going there and trying one out, mid-afternoon.
“OH HENRY...(are you a candy bar?)”
-okay that made me laugh.
not too liberal, just concerned with what i use to power the Lord’s temple. But you are right, one sandwich isn’t going to kill you. It’s just my opinion that they don’t taste great because all you are tasting is salt, not awesome high quality chicken. Eat what you like friend, and I’ll do the same.
I know for a fact that we have Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Kansas, so I would suggest you drive to Overland Park, KS. It would be worth the drive. Especially their fresh squeezed lemonade and their peach mile shakes! Yes, it's THAT GOOD!
Mark
Yes, it is tasty.* Niteowl77 and I went out to Ft. Benning to see Mr. niteowl77 Jr. (now SGT Mr. Niteowl77 Jr.) graduate from Army basic, and Columbus was where I was introduced to Chick-fil-A. They set the hook real good when they gave me that meal, I tell you what.
The closest CFA to us is a 60+ mile drive, but we made the trip last Saturday because:
1. I still consider eating there a treat
2. I wanted to support CFA during this (contrived) "high-dudgeon lynching."
Mr. niteowl77
* After seeing the hair-on-fire hate spewed by the homosexual/communist axis during the past week, I have concluded that maybe it is a little too good for leftists in general and yankees who buy into Satan's idea of "fairness" in particular.
The best fast food is Pollo Tropical. Chick fil A is pretty good though.
As others have said, it’s a tasty chicken sandwich. That said, I’d bet a lot of posters singing the praises of Chick-fil-A would change their minds in a New York minute if Mr. Cathy suddenly came out in support of same sex marriage.
YEP , Its very good , and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet taking your order.
Without question the best quick service chicken sammich you can buy... and also without question BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the quick service industry by far.
If he did, I wouldn’t agree with him, but I’d still eat their sammiches, they are good. And honestly, the customer service is supurb.... No other fast food joint can remotely compare to them in that category.
I must go back for a peach milk shake.
It is wonderful!
You can bet the food and service is very good at CfA KFC in Aiken SC can be rude and racist (towards whites) and Popeyes is LOUD! That is the staff is loud...shouting at each other and their friends as they walk in.
In fairness, I have been in neither one in the past 2 or 3 years (for the above reasons)and it could be differnt now.
But I will stick with CFA and their family values.
BarbM here in Hopkins: one is opening soon in Coon Rapids.
heh. Is your standard for liberal ‘someone that doesn’t like salty fast food?’. salt is good- vital even- in moderation. My family history of males having their hearts explode at a young age may influence my, as you see it, ‘salt suspicious liberalism’. If you really want to know where i stand socially- economically- hit me up on a personal msg- we have cluttered this forum enough for an argument in which i think we pretty much agree on. As far as the chic-fil-a controversy -I think it’s great that the owner is unafraid to speak about his position based on his faith. -I think it is great that people against that view can protest it. -i think it is great that people who support it can speak with their money. For people in political power to try to drive it out of the cities is complete bull-. beyond that I have had trouble giving a darn about the whole thing.
Probably won’t get to eat there until the weekend (first time visit for us) but if their service is anywhere near their online service, I’m beyond impressed.
Ordered t-shirts online yesterday afternoon and got an email with tracking number this morning. They’re on their way ALREADY! :O
Yes, the fried chicken is very lightly breaded and so you actually taste the chicken. I’ve been eating it since probably 1970 something.
the only 2 that are actually open right now are the ones at the UofMN student union and the airport.. I would recommend not basing your views of the place on the one at the school, the worst one ive ever been to
man, I really shouldn’t have even said anything. Like I said to haircutter, I totally agree that one burger isn’t going to kill you. As far as MSG goes, It really does give some people wicked headaches, my wife being one of them. And i’ll never be against a hamburger, but i dig it a lot more when i grill it myself, and load it with tomatos from the garden.
Just got back....it was very tasty!!!
It’s truly yummy. The plain chicken sandwiches are delicious. But the “minis” are my favorite...chicken on bite-sized yeast rolls, with honey butter.
I like to eat healthy and watch my carbs, but you have to treat yourself once in a while, or life is pretty joyless. Yesterday at Chick Fil-A I splurged and got a brownie. It was a chocoholic’s heaven. Thick with frosting, and so rich I could only eat a couple of bites.
Do you thank......and why would I continue to support some one who does a 180 and is against what I believe. That would pretty much be the same as A RINO republican in my book!!! I would not however try to put him out of business I’ve even bought Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
It is excellent. I was surprised how good the food is. I ate at a Chic-Fil-A for the 1st time when the Democrat Fascist mayors of Chicago and Boston started squealing about them. I guess I should thank them for bringing CFA to my attention
Spoken like a true blue food Nazi who has never eaten at a CFA. Did you get lost and stumble in here by mistake?
