The Hijab at the Olympics (A Saudi Arabian Olympian gets in touch with her inner Venus Williams)
American Thinker ^ | 08/03/2012 | Jeannie DeAngelis

The Summer 2012 Olympics in London are supplying the world with exactly the type of ethnic variety that multicultural globalists currently hold in such high esteem. Face it, where else can Olympic fans see female competitors play beach volleyball in orange string bikinis and then be treated to the spectacle of a heavyweight judo competitor from Saudi Arabia rolling around on a mat in a hijab?

That's right - for the first time ever, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has agreed to send female athletes to compete in this year's Olympics. The competitors are jujitsu champ Wojdan Ali Seraj Abdulrahim Shaherkani and a Pepperdine University 800-meter track and field runner with dual citizenship named Sarah Attar.

If a woman with a bare head disturbs Muslim sensibilities, all praise goes to Allah that the female Saudi delegation didn't pick beach volleyball as a sport.

After all, London Mayor Boris Johnson says that the London beach volleyball players "Glisten like wet otters." To the delight of male admirers, the British team works the volleyball while "Cheerleaders dance the conga between points, sand sweepers are greeted by the Benny Hill theme song 'Yakety Sax,' and the female athletes leave little to the imagination in eye-catching skimpy uniforms."

Yet, despite the unenticing idea of a sweaty woman running track and field in a layered skull cap, long sleeves and wind-defiant trousers, both Sarah and Wojdan have a unique opportunity to pave the way for the women of Saudi Arabia to get in touch with their inner Venus Williams.

And while being called a "glistening otter" may be a compliment to some, to others being a Saudi female allowed to compete in the Olympics is much more impressive,

It would be a darned shame if she inadvertently got strangled by her hijab now wouldn’t it?

Persian and many Arabian women are gorgeous! The Mediterranean complexion paired with sometimes light-colored eyes and dark, heavy, straight hair are amazing, IMO.

I dated a very beautiful Lebanese girl in college. Her family was not happy that she was dating a white Catholic boy, and to this day, I think she dated me just to spite them. She mesmerized me though. Her eyes still haunt me.

I wonder if having to train in full garb helps them or hurts them in the heat of the middle east.

RE: Sarah is a pretty woman.

Trying saying that out loud in Saudi Arabia... (pretty soon, you’ll have to explain that you were referring to Sarah Palin ).

The ME is really changing. Some ME guys post on a forum on a bodybuilding site I post. They talk of the parties were the women show up in hijabs but as soon as they enter the party the hijabs come off, the miniskirts and tight dresses go on and when they leave the hijabs go back on. The younger generation in the ME love the western ways for the most part. Victoria Secret has stores now in many ME countries.

The world is becoming smaller every day.

Further evidence that Muslim women are forced to cover themselves because Muslim men have no self-control.

That is why I married one, Mrs. Kc Lion is Palestinian and is the most Beautiful woman on earth and I am not just saying that because she is watching me type this. Lol

The only catch to those of you hunting for your perfect wife is don't look at Arabian girls if you think they are push overs because the Muslim Men are insecure with themselves and force them to wear the Burka, Hajab et al.

These women are some of the most ferocious you will EVER meet. They make great friends, but even worse enemies.

The Pepperdine muzzie certainly wasn’t HELPED by her ROO (Robe of Oppression).. She got smoked in qualifying for the 100m.. She finished last 4+ seconds behind the leader

But at least she got to participate.. That’s what it’s all about.. I guess
