It will be a great day when the soi-disant One exits the White House along with his sow-dissonant FLO-TUS…

About 10 min after i put them out this AM, Chan was missing from the yard, Jules sitting on the walk looking down the street, so i figured that’s the way she had gone. I jumped in my car to drive down looking for her and backed into xsteen’s RAV4, denting the corner of the back fender. Found chan 2 yards over from the guy next door. We had forgotten to put the electric collar back on after the groomer and while Jules was a good boy and stayed close to home, Chan decided to go on a long explore. So i felt sick about hitting her car. i DO STUFF LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME, as you know. i have hit something in the driveway/garage close to a handful of times. My husband is a saint, he never yells, just says don’t worry about it, we will take care of it. etc. I was relating the story to the two paralegals this AM. Both are 60+ yo and divorced and when i said xshub didn’t yell and was very nice and comforting, they were both floored and agreed their EXes would have shot them if they’d done something like it. xsteen was also nice about it, had it been xsboy’s car, i assure you he would have been mad, and it could have just as easily been him, bc they vye for that spot at the top of the driveway outside of my side of the garage. I still feel terrible and prob will for awhile.

Well you were already upset about the missing baby dog so that is understandable that you would have been distracted and bumped the car. Good for your husband not making a big deal out of it, and also for your daughter being understanding.

My husband is like yours - doesn't get upset about little things. As my Marine would say to you, "calm down, it could be worse - no one is shooting at you"

xsteen scraped her back bumper in the garage parking for a Caps game and was so upset about it. it is a sickening feeling. needless to say, i was sympathetic to her plight.

Not Yes. Not in my time anyway. Zeppelin and Floyd and the Doors. And Rush was for the deep thinking stoner crowd.

I remember the day my mom backed out of the garage with one of the station wagon doors still open. Bent it up real good.

Hit Parader was the other heavy metal mag back in my youth.

Signs I’ve been traveling to much lately: happy that a new month means a new in-flight magazine.

will the movie have changed? There was no movie en route to Jacksonville, bc it’s only an hour and a half from here, but DC to dallas was always a movie flight.

You’re living in the past. No movie on the regional jet on this route.

When they do fly the bigger plane (Monday mornings, etc.) They want you to pay $7 for Directv access.

As the economy worsens daily
And sound policy disappears
The misery index is now where
It was in the Carter years

The self-made soi-disant emperor
And Michelle Antoinette, his wife
May soon be compelled to return
To their former Chicago life-

Back to their old neighborhood
With union and mob, like before-
Where wiseguys rule, and a former
Domestic terrorist lives next door

A couple my first spouse and I were friends with had 5 kids at home in the boonies-the family owned 4 vehicles, which they parked in a line in the drive at the front of the house at night.

Several times, a family member would be running late in the morning, carelessly put their vehicle in gear and engage the accelerator before their brain. I’m pretty sure all their vehicles got bashed at least once...
