"The impassioned author of that blog, Pink Is for Boys, is careful to conceal her son’s identity, as were the other parents interviewed for this article. As much as these parents want to nurture and defend what makes their children unique and happy, they also fear it will expose their sons to rejection. Some have switched schools, changed churches and even moved to try to shield their children."

And yet after all this, they think they are doing right by their children by giving them no boundaries?

Does the kid like to hum Broadway show tunes? Does he collect Sher albums?

A kilt is not a dress.

“the important thing was to teach him not to be ashamed of who he feels he is.”
///
what strikes me as most odd... is the hypocrisy.
the liberals applaud a boy who feels feminine,
and wants to wear a dress...
yet,
WOMEN, are told if they wear dresses and skirts,
they are being virtual sex slaves,
instead of proud independent modern liberated women...
(who MUST wear pants only, to prove this!)

The parents are abusing this boy and should be charged with child abuse and go to prison, the child needs to be institutionalized and held until he is reprogrammed to be a normal male.

“Gender-fluid?” Hell no. He’s a boy. God made him a boy. He has a Y chromosome and a penis. Put him in boy’s clothes and quit trying to make him into something he isn’t.

” But the parents of boys in that middle space argue that gender is a spectrum rather than two opposing categories, neither of which any real man or woman precisely fits. “

Um no, you dillusional quacks, other than those very rare biological situations where someone literally is genetically different than their sexual organs, its a damned BINARY thing.. YOu are a boy or a girl, PERIOD.. don’t believe me? Look at your child nude, unless they are clinically diagnosed with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrom they are the gender you see between their legs.

has been gender-fluid

Translation: "We've been confusing the sh*t out of him and he's clueless about appropriate dress and he wants to pretend he's his Mommy and we encourage that. Now you have to, too."

I actually knew a kid like this once. He was a neighbor of ours’ in Richardson, TX. His older brother was a very good athlete and all boy. Little Drew, for some reason was just different—much to the consternation of his parents.

He was a good looking, well mannered kid. His only problem was that from the time he was a toddler, he wanted “girlie” things—play dishes, dolls, and the like.

At first, the parents humored him, thinking he would grow out of it. As he grew older, though, his “feminine” side became more apparent, in spite of what the parents did.

IOW, this little boy grew up to be quite flamming.

The point is, having watched this, I think the condition is something you’re born with.

I suspect the children have the desire to wear dresses because one or both of the supposed adults in their lives treats them better, as special, while they are in the dress.

They explained that Alex had recently become inconsolable about his parents’ ban on wearing dresses beyond dress-up time

There's your first problem. Dress time happened once a year around my house: Halloween.
