New Catch Phrase (vanity)
self ^ | 13 Aug 2012 | piytar

A friend came up with a catch-phrase that I like. Wanted to get Freepers' thoughts on it:

Obama Always Blames Bush

How many times did Reagan blame Carter?

The genesis of this was that he is just sick and tired of Obama always blaming Bush for Obama's own failings. It also contrasts Obama's whinning inability to accept responsibility for anything with Reagan's "get it done" approach.

Think it might be worth sticking on some tshirts. Thoughts?

I find it odd that the "Bush" recession ended in June 2009, but even three years later Obama claims conditions even after the end of the recession were so bad that Obama couldn't do anything about it. How could anyone support a self-proclaimed leader who is so impotent that he can't respond effectively to the end of a recession, and over three years later everything is "Bush's fault"?

Personally, I don’t think anything any of us is likely to conceive of will beat “you didn’t build that”.

Because every other snarky phrase I’ve heard clearly requires the assemblage of functioning neurons. And that, I’m afraid, is terribly unlikely.

Sounds more like Democratic Underground-speak.

Hmm ...

I’ve never liked the Shrub from day one of his candidacy..
Running the son of “Read my lips no new taxes” was soooo lame..
Even when he threw “us” a bone with tax breaks I was suspicious..

His second term paved the way for Barry Half-White..
Four lanes with guard rails.. and STOP Signs all over the place..

Republicans started playing the “GLAD Game” i.e. PollyAnna..
right after Reagan... and has continued until TODAY..

Bush Jr. was a severe mistake.. not electing him but running him in the first place..
Actually electing AL Gorp.. would have been better..

Gorp was a boring Man-Bear that would have been defeated readily..
Better than the racist well connected Chicago Thugg we have now..
Gorp would have scared the Hell out of America.. without all the racial issues..
Even Francois Kerry would have been better..

I’m in more agreement than disagreement with you. I just think calling him “Shrub” is childish and beneath you.

I’m not a conservative especially a compassionate conservative..
I’m a RADICAL... I’m angry very very angry..

The Bushes.... the whole family are One Worlders.. like Kissinger.. and Maurice Strong..
Lots republicans are.. I don’t like that either..

I am starting to think the only hope for America is to go BANKRUPT.. or EMP problems or both...
Let the dreck hit the fan.. the cleanup will be nasty no doubt..
