>>>>Will you people grow grows frigging pair, or are you just conservative because it makes you feel tough?

The Spartans had BIG balls...all 300 of them.

And they all died.

You have to fight the battle you are given if you want to win the WAR. And this battle we are fighting for our country in 2012 is probably the final one for this country.

Seems to me that when guys like Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh GET IT...the strategy of the fact this guy needs to go because there are bigger things at stake...that YOU are probably missing something.

So yeah...let's hoist ourselves on our own petard...and let the dims hang this guy (who AIN'T worth it) around all of our necks like a millstone. Yeah....THAT's a BRILLIANT idea. That'll show Artaxerxes who's boss!

“The GOP could easily loose the MO and MA Senate seat, most of the good work done in WI, any chance of taking Colorado, Iowa and Nevada.”

I respectfully disagree. Conservative candidates’ greatest dangers occur when the GOP establishment refuses to stand up on principle. When conservatives run as conservatives, they win. When they lose, it is due to the GOP Establishment’s cowardly (or purposeful) lack of support.

At this point I suspect the GOP is doing more damage by clinging to the issue rather than letting it die on its own.

Let the guy stand or fall on his own but making it a national issue makes it a far riskier game for the GOP as a whole.

And who’s going to hear about our principles? The convention is coming up, and the media will use this Akin issue to drown out the entire convention message. A huge waste of an unique opportunity.

Nobody is asking Akin to resign due to his principles; he should resign because he is a liability to every other GOP candidate running.

His *inexcusable* lack of preparation underlines the fact that he is a bad candidate. After all, what conservative politician isn’t aware that the media will try to trip him up on the most controversial social issue of our time, and prepares for it accordingly?

This was a careless, self-inflicted wound. He is already a casualty by his own careless hand. He should not be allowed to create more GOP casualties during the most crucial election in our history!

I understand how you feel but this is very dangerous.
We are risking everything the Tea Party has accomplished since 08 on this idiot who can’t control is mouth or ego.

I was funding a House candidate in Oregon in ‘10 who had great strength and message. The first debate he showed up with an attitude and ended everything.

This has nothing to do with the GOP establishment. It has to do with as the Tea Party continues to grow, are we going to replace old broken down idiots with younger idiots.

Well, I think conservatives should welcome a convention pro-life message. The GOP Establishment might have a different idea however.

The point is, nobody is going to be paying attention to the Romney/Ryan message. It’s going to be all Akin, all the time.

Someone like Rove needs to take him aside, quietly, and do what Mexican drug lords do with gov't officials...offer him "silver or lead"."Silver" meaning a cushy gig of some sort."Lead" meaning "we'll bury you so deep that a bulldozer won't be able to find you".

Of course "bury" is used symbolically...not literally.
