Rosie O'Donnell says it's a "miracle" she's alive today.
The comedienne, 50, took to her blog on Monday to reveal she suffered a heart attack last week and is now at home recovering.
O'Donnell said her health problems began on Aug. 14 after she helped "an enormous woman" who was struggling to get out of her car in a parking lot in Nyack, N.Y.
"a few hours later my body hurt/ i had an ache in my chest," she wrote in her usual verse form. "both my arms were sore/everything felt bruised."
O'Donnell said she went on about her day despite feeling persistent pain.
"i became nauseous/my skin was clammy," she wrote. "i was very very hot/i threw up."

Oh,No, you didnt!
“i became nauseous/my skin was clammy,” she wrote. “i was very very hot/i threw up.”
That’s right up there with, “Have you SEEN my ass?”
Prayers up that your procedure goes well.
I think she ought to make a celebratory trip to “Fat Burger” and have a triple baconator with cheese, onions, more cheese, and some Ranch Dressing. Throw in a couple of bloomin’ onions, some fat fries and a big gulp chocolottofato milk shake. Repeat as necessary.
To bad it didn’t work..........
Or to the "Heart Attack Grill."
Sending prayers your way—so many, many factors play a roll in heart disease. Genetics being one.
Two years ago July,
My husband was 52, coaching our youngest son’s tournament baseball team (he was throwing BP to 12 year olds). Thought he had pulled a muscle; but the pain intensified. Then he kept feeling sicker to his stomach. I came home from work and somehow (still don’t know how it all fell into place) drive him to the ER. He had a 100% blockage of his LAD (what Rosie had) and was “having a heart attack.”. He was Coded in the ER and had emergency surgery (stents—just like RO’D). He has had a few set backs but is in good health now.
The thing is—and given what our family has been thru—we don’t know G-d’s plan. Maybe the Lord is working thru Rosie to help spread the knowledge of HA symptoms and what to do. Seriously—a teammate of my sons (the team my husband was pitching too) his dad awoke months later with similar symptoms—the boy said to his mom “remember what happened with Coach X?—they called EMS and the dad WAS having a HA (he survived and is well today too!)
One life, one recounting of a story, can touch so many others. I disagree with Rosie politically, but applaud (and send prayers her way) for cing forward with the knowledge of HAs.
Seeker—you will be fine. The procedures and meds today do wonderful things—thats why we have to keep medical care as it is NOW and NO ObamaCare!
Was that fat woman wearing a gray slipcover from an armchair and sporting 3 chins?
I want to add that the care my husband received was at a small, suburban hospital. A triage nurse recognized the severity of his symptoms, he collapsed in the wheelchair, was called a Code Blue, was worked IMMEDIATELY by the ER staff, and was rushed into emergency surgery—and this happens (sadly) dozens of times a day in hospitals all over the country. People are being saved because just every hospital has cardio staffing and a cath lab/surgical theatre. That what is so damn scary about ObamaCare—advances made THAT SAVE lives will be done away with to save costs. For important things—like free birth control.
I always confuse her with Rosanne Barr....
she shouldn’t call others enormous
So is there a test or something that tests your arteries? Why is no one posting what you’re supposed to do to see if you are at risk?
I wish you long life life’s happiness seeker.
Thank you:)
Hi Fawn,
I had a Nuclear Stress Test and CT Angiogram. I had a very high artery calcium score over 400 with 3 arteries involved. Next stop is cath.

Rosie, there is no such thing as "luck." God is trying to get your attention. He is not willling for anyone to perish. Jesus is your 911. Only He can save you.
Listen to the Voice inside/the One we all so easily ignore.
Ok..thanks for the link. I don’t see that specific issue on this blog. Is this a test that everyone should get?
Must be the heart; she’ll certainly never have a brain attack.
Given Rosie’s own girth and displacement, what the hell is “an enormous woman” to HER?!?
