Rosie O'Donnell says it's a "miracle" she's alive today.
The comedienne, 50, took to her blog on Monday to reveal she suffered a heart attack last week and is now at home recovering.
O'Donnell said her health problems began on Aug. 14 after she helped "an enormous woman" who was struggling to get out of her car in a parking lot in Nyack, N.Y.
"a few hours later my body hurt/ i had an ache in my chest," she wrote in her usual verse form. "both my arms were sore/everything felt bruised."
O'Donnell said she went on about her day despite feeling persistent pain.
"i became nauseous/my skin was clammy," she wrote. "i was very very hot/i threw up."

Heck, she should go get one of those Heart Attack burgers. They only sell them to people who have actually had a heart attack. /sarc
If you are on a statin, get off of it. Statins cause arterial calcification big time. Also increase you risk of type 2 diabetes significantly.
She must have had no idea she was on camera. Hubby and I watched that entire game... she barely came up for air. She pigged out for hours. It was SO disgusting...

Her carpet footprint [oops! I meant ‘Carbon’] is more than this world can handle. She should hasten her transition from this world by any culinary means necessary.
Hopefully serious enough to keep her out of the public eye for the nex thirty years.

I absolutely agree 100%! I don’t wish ill health on anyone. And like you, I detest O’Donnell. Hell, at least Roseanne grows Macadamias.
BTW, three sets of stents and a (mild?) heart attack for me in the last six months. Cath and stenting is a piece of cake and you’ll feel WAY better once your heart starts working properly again. Only hard part is laying flat on your back afterwards for a bunch of hours to avoid the risk of the Femoral artery popping open from where the cath was inserted. Arrange up front with your doc to keep you heavily medicated throughout that ordeal so your whole body doesn’t go into one giant muscle spasm. Morphine then is good. So is a big dose of a benzo if it’s a drug you’re willing to take.
Afterwards, it’s Plavix and an aspirin every day for a year to reduce risk of drug-eluting stents from clotting. You’ll probably easily bruise from that, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the alternative.

Only if you have risk factors like- age, genes, cholesterol, symptoms or high blood pressure. I had some symptoms and it went from there.
