Claire McCaskill is doing cartwheels.
“Claire McCaskill is doing cartwheels.”
And writing another check to his campaign.
Jim you can delete this thread if you like.
So am I.
I, Me, I Me, ME Myself, I, I, I me, me mine....
He is going up against the third dumbest person in the Senate (save for her savvy support of his campaign) and has found a way to prove that he is dumber. Thanks moron.
Kind of talks like Obama
Claire McCaskill has been incredibly lucky in being able to choose her opponent. Very much the same as Obama was able to eliminate his opponents for state Senate and US Senate before helping John McCain become his opponent in 2008.
McCaskill must be absolutely stunned at how easy this is. By Monday, she`ll be sending Akin`s campaign a half-million $ and another length of rope.
Akin staying in,
Theres American Exceptionalism right there...
I agree. Does everyone think we’d be better off with the rat? That’s what will happen if he pulls out.
Actually it is American Exceptionalism being legitimately raped by a hubristic buffoon.
Maybe if everybody just shut up....it would not be news....If. His polls get worse maybe he will quit
Claire McCaskill is doing cartwheels.
yes. because of GOP-e types, who sacrifice principle,
simply to win power.
...proved by your continuing to misquote the man!
the left will use the clumsy words against us anyway.
99% of the damage, is being done by the GOP-e!
THEY are the ones doing most of the misquoting,
and personal attacks, on an honest man!
how about a little loyalty and integrity, from the GOP-e?
i don’t like Romney. he’s too liberal.
but, i’m ready to vote for him, as Mr Robinson said.
...is a TINY bit of support and respect impossible,
for true conservatives?
...has Romney never made a gaffe, or flip-flopped?
right or wrong, Akin is in.
now, it’s the turn of the GOP-e types,
to show THEY are “team players”,
and support an admittedly imperfect conservative (Akin)
as we support an admittedly imperfect moderate (Romney) !
Akin is the only Republican that can win, and the only one worth voting for.
When he gets elected we’ll have one more true conservative patriot that will resist the GOPe scum caucus.
What part of "legitimate rape" don't you understand?
Akin made his first impression with such a word, to the voters of the state of Missouri(and not his cozy house district), and what did your mother tell you, first impressions mean everything.
He made a hell of a first impression and Claire McCaskill is happy as hell that he did it.
So what - they were doing cart-wheels when Ryan was announced as the VP pick. Did you wet yourself then?
Corporate Law = Moron.
Akin = Conservative candidate that can win, and buck the GOPe trash.
” because of GOP-e types, who sacrifice principle,
simply to win power.
...proved by your continuing to misquote the man!”
People on here misquoting him, my God, wait until McCaskill unleashes her 10-15 million dollar campaign against him.
Moderates and undecideds will think he is a member of the four horsemen of the apocalypse coming to rape their women folk, (but legitimately of course).
Who would rather have as VP, Biden?
Who would you rather have as the senator from Missouri, McCaskill?
I don't need a reply, I already know the answers, because, Biden and McCaskill are providential.
Your next to the last brain cell has died; now you don’t have two of them to rub together.
DallasBiff: You are engaging in something very ugly. It is ugly to misquote Akin. I don't appreciate you misusing FreeRepublic with this fraudulent vanity.
Yes, you certainly are a hubristic buffoon.
You dislike the "GOP-e" more than Obama and McCaskill don't you.
You have shown your true colors.
I am not the one who stated such things as "legitimate rape" or that a woman can shut down the reproductive process during rape.
Todd Akin did, and now he is giving up a senate seat to the democrats.
What part of “legitimate rape” don’t YOU understand?
He made a good point; mot of what gets called rape is no such thing, and most people understand that fact.
You apparently do not.
Akin will win big id the GOPe excrement give him the funding that he deserves.
And sir, you have shown your ignorance.
The GOPe are one and the same as McCaskill and Obama. They’ve proven that in spades.
Recognizing that they are American traitors is my “true colors.”
Wake up zombie; you’re being used.
This whole thing is a mountain out of a molehill.
YES, it was a stupid statement and that alone shows me he doesn’t have good judgement.
That said women DO to some extenr regulate their cycles. Isn’t a fact, I can’t quote the studies right now, that females in groups, like in a college dorm or in a close family, sync their cycles?
Isn’t that known to anilmal breeders?
If that can be altered other things may be alterable as well.
The problem is semantics, legitimate rape versus brutal rape. Yes all rapes can be described as brutal however I am refering to a rape that triggers drastic hormone response.
Without getting too far into details is it posdible for a victim of a brutal rape to get pregnant? YES! However it may not be probable.
Akin knows more about his state than I do. If it were me I would step down but he may know something I don’t.
Please show me how?
I am not the one(Todd Akin), who gave this election to Claire McCaskill.
“He made a good point; mot of what gets called rape is no such thing, and most people understand that fact.”
All of you on this board, that support Akin, need to get together, pool your resources, and run an ad stating that a lot of rape cases are not legitimate and these women are trying to get an abortion by claiming falsely to have been raped.
Should easily get your point across to the electorate and I’m sure it would bring up Todd’s poll numbers.
>> “I am not the one who stated such things as “legitimate rape” or that a woman can shut down the reproductive process during rape.” <<
There is such a thing as false rape too, and that was his point.
He was correct, the cortisol release during extreme stress can and often does shut down the reproductive process. That is a biological fact.
You are apparently a biological accident.
Try to keep up - please?
My remark was to your comment about McCaskill doing cartwheels. Do you think it's possible that she was also doing doing cartwheels when Ryan was announced?
If so, why should we care that she is doing cartwheels - AT ALL?
Relax, take a deep breath, you're not helping anything by flailing around on the Akin thing...
Conservatives are well acquainted with truth, and support it; wacked out leftists like yourself reject the odd concept of objective truth.
Correction, Akin knows his cozy US house district better than both of us.
IMO, he doesn't know the whole state of Missouri or the nation with his ignorant remarks.
Dallas Biff: You are the one saying it over and over and over now. No profanity, No personal attacks, no racism or violence. How about not misquoting or perpetuating a lie against Akin.
Akin’s remarks were not ignorant; just stated in a clumsy way.
Because Akin just handed her a second term.
Maybe someday the fog will lift and you will get over your hatred of the "GOP establishment", especially since that real "establishment" is McCaskill, whom with Akin's stupid remarks, is going to get re-elected.
McCaskill does not want her prize toy withdrawing before Sept 25. So she will spend part of her 12 million dollar war chest
with positive ads about herself before that date without attacking him. She would not want to get too far ahead of him before that date for fear he will withdraw.Come September 25 and he cannot withdraw she will unload on him with every one of her ads ending in 2 words legitimate rape.
It’s common knowledge that guys called “Biff,” and “Chuckee” are usually queer.
Would it be OK to assume that you are here to support the “Gay” agenda, and that is why you despise Akin?
Is this it? No content? No intellectual musings? Biff-Boom-Fizzle
Hey Dallas, he made a decision. to stay in the race. Real conservatives will now back him against McCaskill. If you continue your bashing of Akin, we will have to assume that you want McCaskill to win.
The reason i can't stand Akin is first, his stupid remarks, which put the repeal of Obamacare in jeopardy, with the re-election of Clair McCaskill. BTW, why is Akin more concerned about the evil GOP establishment, rather than Obama/McCaskill.
Second his arrogance that he can't really admit to his stupid remarks.
Third, arrogant bustards like you, who cast aspersions when they lose political arguements.
You know one could from your screen name,"editor-surveyor" could mean you scout out schoolyard playgrounds, but I won't go there.
And he is going to lose(he lost 18 points), badly, and all for his(Akin's) vanity.
“Conservatives are well acquainted with truth, and support it; wacked out leftists like yourself reject the odd concept of objective truth.”
Hey if you are so right about Akin and that his words were spoken with truth, then by all means keep getting the word out there, like I said a TV ad would be the quickest way to swing over those undecided women, I’m sure Todd would deeply appreciate it.
If you want Akin to step down, to save that senate seat for conservatives, you will be labeled a surrender monkey, a left wing whack job, pro abortionist, McCaskill plant etc etc.
There is no reasoning with a certain fringe element on here, but the clock is winding down to Nov.
‘Its common knowledge that guys called Biff, and Chuckee are usually queer.”
That one I am going to frame as a classic of the some of the more paranoid emotional schoolyard namecalling that stalks these boards.Sorry but myself,my wife and kids would tell you no.
I do not despise Akin.. If I lived in Missouri and as a conservative Republican partisan if he was the only alternative I would vote for the loser. But I want him to withdraw because he shot himself in the head not the foot and no amount of apologies or reinterpretation by him or wishful thinking by you is going to resurrect him.
I know very well.
People like Akin and editor-surveyor dislike the GOP more than Obama/McCaskill.
They rant and rave when one of theirs(Akin) makes a really stupid remark, but they cannot take responsibilty and be politically mature.
They remind me of democrats.
I understand that he made a sincere apology about the politically incorrect wording of his statement. I also understand that all the moaning and groaning from our side fills the liberals with glee. Time to remember that Mr. Akin has a 97% ACU rating vs. McCaskill’s mere 14%, and to put her voting record back into the spotlight.
