Mozilla had officially released Firefox 15.0 this morning with many new features.

Key features of the Firefox 15 web-browser include reduced memory usage, a new JavaScript debugger, support for compressed textures, an improved JavaScript engine, WebGL enhancements, high precision timing support, and various other fixes and enhancements.

Firefox 15 for Android was released today as well to go along with the multi-platform desktop release. Additional Firefox 15 details are available from the Mozilla blog. Mozilla Firefox 15 is available for download from Mozilla.org.

Embedded below is the BananaBread first person shooter 3D demo that shows off some of the WebGL/graphics improvements found in this latest Firefox browser release.

That’s a different article, from a different source, with a different author. Most of us here can figure it out.

Still painfully slow on FB games. I don’t know what they broke on that stuff, other flash games it’s fine, FB forget about it.

Curious if you’ve run your ‘plugin check’ yet? Java shows update needed-but none available. They will prob work it out in a day or two.

Same here. I’m happy my Norton Identity Safe and Fast Dial 4.2.2 Visual Bookmarks are still working. Sometimes they stop working until after updates.

Seriously this new version is smokin’. I really like it.

Yes, same topic. I was not sure if you were one of the "posting police" or merely advising of a related thread. The TechPing list got both and all info is welcomed.

By the way, welcome to FR.

I just installed it. The last releases were buggy enough that I switched to Chrome briefly.

Firefox had better make me happy fast because I got real comfortable with Chrome.

If I knew it was going to create such a fuss, I wouldn’t have listed it.n Sorry.

Doesn’t matter to me, I use Chrome for the most part.

I haven't come close to figuring out Chrome....particularly the benchmarks ....

But I am currently mostly happy with Firefox.

Heh. I just checked and it looks like I’m still running FF 3.6. Which is currently using appr. 350 MB of memory with 38 Tabs open. Works just fine. Any really compelling reason to update?

No offense was intended, an apology is not needed.

Tried Chrome in its early years but did not stick with it. Might try it again sometime -- like many I'm getting tired of major FireFox releases every few months.
