What’s wrong with 43%?
They sit at home collecting welfare and food stamps, they are perfectly happy getting free Govt goodies
How could anyone approve of 2x gas prices, 15% real unemployment, and more disability claim approvals than jobs created?
That 43% must get government checks every month, paid for by the dwindling number of taxpayers, of course.
What do you have when the government runs out of other people’s money?
Greece
If this one little group is doing this, one would wonder then just how many other people are lying to pollsters. I haven't been polled, but if I am, I am going to be a staunch Obama supporter...heh heh...
Absolutely! We can no longer just assume that stupidity plays into the support for Obama. More and more it's greed that plays a bigger part in his "positive" polling data.
Obama supporters get free Govt handouts, of course they will continue to vote for Obama. Why work when you can get “free stuff.” Remember the woman in Detroit who said that Obama would pay for her house, car, gas, food, etc etc..heck now Obama gives the “poor” free phones. Why get up and actually WORK for your money when you have Govt giving you free treats in the mail every month
Going down?
Let's be safe and assume it true. After all, would you go and vote yourself a pay cut? Why would those abusing the system do the same?
In my city I know many Somalis who have not even been in the USA a year and are collecting social security. I doubt they are going to vote against Obama and YES they are voting.
Now consider that to be happening in most cities in the USA and consider other ethnic groups much bigger than the Somalis such as the immigrants (legal/illegal) from Mexico and then add in the Americans white and black who collect social security as young as 18 years old for having "problems" we never considered to be problems a few years ago.
I know a few Americans collecting social security (disability) because they are "alcoholics". One of them is 50 years old the other is 18 years old.
>> They sit at home collecting welfare and food stamps
...or go to work and collect a government paycheck. Lot of *that* going around too.
Just sad that just a large percentage of fellow citizens are totally clueless dupes.
Ohio 50.2%
Virginia 49%
Nevada 51%
New Hampshire 54%
Missouri 54%
Colorado 52.2%
Florida 48%
Pennsylvania 48%
New Mexico 51.2%
When more than 50% disapprove you cannot win.
Anyone have George W. Bush’s approval rating in 2004 compared to the percentage of the vote he received?
And if those numbers keep going up we’re in BIG trouble!
Gallup poll 2004 Nov 7-10 53% approval
http://www.gallup.com/poll/116500/presidential-approval-ratings-george-bush.aspx
He won with 53.2%
Very interesting... almost all of the econometric models that project presidential elections based on economic data show Obama getting ~46-47% of the popular vote which is pretty much the cap in the polls that are out there.
People who don’t have cars (usually city dwellers) and who don’t have jobs, but don’t want them because they are on disability...these are the types who are very pleased with Obama. This is why Romney must win and why I have no patience for freepers who are still knocking him: four more years of Obama will mean that the 50/50 split between the workers and the takers almost certainly will become a 60/40 split, which means the country will be permanently lost. As it is, half of the people in the USA don’t pay taxes. If that percentage goes up â as it will under during another Obama term â it will be nearly impossible to get anyone other than a liberal elected to the presidency ever again.
