Thousands have flocked to the unusual moggy's Facebook page which has received over 40,000 likes, while a video of the cute cat has racked up almost one million views on YouTube in just a matter of days.
The cats symmetrically divided black and ginger facial fur has been likened to a much cuter version of fictional comic book character, Batman's infamous adversary Two-Face.
Venus may look like she comes from another planet but her striking appearance and opposing coloured eyes have a far more ordinary explanation - genetic mutation.
'We've heard everything from Photoshop to we've dyed half of her face,' her owner Christina, from North Carolina, told the Today Show. 'This is just the way she was born, that's it.'

It seems stardom now awaits Venus; having already appeared on America's the Today Show, the unusual-looking kitty has been tipped to star in Lady Gaga's next video.

They have, you betcha.
She seem very sweet in her videos. Her hoomins are well-trained.
She’s actually quite talented, but I find her whole “Lady GaGa” schtick to be tiresome at best.
They are amazing, at that.
FYI:
Barack is not hslf-black. He is 50% sub-Saharan Arab, 47% white and 3% black. Not even enough to qualify for his Affirmative Action grants.
Oops! Corrrection: 50% white and 47% sub-Saharan Arab. Someone I know needs coffee this morning! LOL!
Or the camera angle or lens.
That is one laid-back kitteh! Totally in charge of all she surveys. What a sweetheart.
Is she a chimera, or a mutation? The article says both, and they are very different. She looks more like a chimera, in which case she’d be the most incredible chimera I’ve seen.
A chimera is a singularly functioning organism comprised of genetic material from what started out as twins. Usually the only clue is some subtle small body part, like mismatching eyes, or an extra foot; if neither twin is so dominant, odds are you’ll get siamese twins, instead.
If that cat has a perfect half head from each twin, that’s amazing.
Beautiful calico cat!
