Just a vanity here... but the issue of the DNC filling the Panther's Stadium Thursday night has been rattling around my brain for a couple of days... like, what's the big whoop? It occurs to me that the DNC must present an image of the known universe being in support of Obama. But... Why? is it to stroke his image? to quell the doubts of those who voted for him but didn't get their new kitchen? to give a lolly pop to the dismayed? Probably just about anything you can come up with would be a legitimate answer to that question. I'm thinking, its all about validation for Obama supporters... wow, so many what-if's... the biggest being, what if they can't fill the stadium. Hate to be in their shoes... Your thoughts?
Waiting for their Messiah.
When your candidate has no ideas and no solutions all you are left with is image. They have to have the image of the stadium being full. They have nothing else to run on.
Don’t call it Panther stadium. Call it Bank of America stadium. Just to piss off the dims.
They will do as they always do. They will claim full attendance through stadium-filling fraud.
They may not even have that as it is forcast to rain heavily all week.
Plan B was always plan A for them. It will be moved inside and blamed on the weather. They can’t fill that stadium. It would require emptying their war chest to pay people to be there.
The media will help by issuing statements with Obama’s apologies to the tens of thousands supposedly waiting outside and on the way to fill the stadium.
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t mean much of anything. Most football teams fill their stadiums every home game, and they get a boatload of money for doing so. This idiot’s giving tickets away in bars and is still struggling to fill the Bank of America stadium.
I heard they have reserved seats for Gay, transgendered, union thugs, pedophiles, welfare queens, etc.
Just sayin'.

It seems as though the entire executive branch of the federal government and his entire campaign organization have taken on the traits of a malignant narcissistic. Whether that all comes directly from him or they all just assume what he is and act accordingly I don’t know.
Can’t they work with the NBC and the Chinese IOC to simply fake the images of people being in the stands (like the Beijing Olympics faked the opening ceremony fireworks display)? It’s not like the people who’d actually show up would ever say anything to dispel the illusion...
The will do like the Chinese and Norks do at public events, require all government workers within 150 miles to attend. Problem solved.
Even giving away tickets and busing attendees from afar may not fill that stadium. Even if they do, it will only serve to give them a false sense of security. A large number of those who are unwilling to buy a ticket will also be unwilling to get out and go vote on election day.
These people have a serious enthusiasm problem.
They will do anything to make it appear completely packed. It is part of the psychological game as people want to be part of movements and be popular. They are trying to make their movement appear to be the 'cool kids'. I am even hearing constant bumps on XM Octane and Liquid Metal stations for the convention due to the musical line-up. They are pulling out everything for the 'cool' PR.
It is called Bank of America Stadium, but the Democrats refuse to call it that. So instead we should call it Bailouts of America Stadium.
The MSM will attempt to revive the messiah complex.
I prefer to call it Carolina Black Panthers Stadium.
Thursday’s forecast calls for a high probability of thundershowers. This may end up resembling that Meet John Doe rally in Frank Capra’s classic film.
