Just a vanity here... but the issue of the DNC filling the Panther's Stadium Thursday night has been rattling around my brain for a couple of days... like, what's the big whoop? It occurs to me that the DNC must present an image of the known universe being in support of Obama. But... Why? is it to stroke his image? to quell the doubts of those who voted for him but didn't get their new kitchen? to give a lolly pop to the dismayed? Probably just about anything you can come up with would be a legitimate answer to that question. I'm thinking, its all about validation for Obama supporters... wow, so many what-if's... the biggest being, what if they can't fill the stadium. Hate to be in their shoes... Your thoughts?

Tyrants need full stadiums to project an image of broad acceptance & support to shame possible dissenters from dissenting.

They say they really don’t care one way or the other but not filling it would give the RNC talking points. Concealing their out-of-control God complex must get to be so exhausting.
Back when the filmed the movie “The Natural” at War Memorial Stadium in Buffalo they used carboard cutouts of people in 1930’s dress for the people in the upper decks.
When they were done filming the movie, they gave these cardbord people away. One of my buddies had a few. They demolished the stadium , known as the rockpile, not long after.
They could do the same thing in Charlotte.

They over-reached .... figured the Hype and Change would still be at the intensity it was in 2008. Not everybody is being fooled this time ..... a lot less people are being fooled. They expected another stadium-sized event and unless they get out there and make it happen (busing in unions, college students, blacks), it is not going to happen spontaneously as it did in 2008. Big problem for O’s image if there are empty seats & a lack of worshipping followers. I fully expect them to move it to the Arena using rain as an excuse .... a LOT less seats to fill (50-60K less!) and they can control the crowd make-up .... probably the only ones allowed in due to limited seating and security will be credentialed delegates & VIPs.
The proper name of the stadium is Bank of America Stadium.
Gee ... why are the Dems so afraid to use that?
And the “tea party” getting 1-2 million people to DC on 3 days’ notice for an unorganized non-event featuring nobody.
Didn’t BANK OF AMERICA, pay for the naming rights to this stadium?
If the DNC covered the B of A signs, the media really ought to show the public the duplicity of the DNC.
Many of the Obamabots will stay home if they aren’t stoked right up until the election. Perception is everything for them.
