I'm kind of disappointed that they've changed the cast but on the other hand the fact that they are continuing the trilogy makes me glad.

A movie every 2 or 3 years will cause all kinds of problems with actors and crew. I thought maybe a cartoon version would have worked well. By cartoon, I mean anime. They could have cranked one out every 6 months and finished the whole story while people are still fresh with Obamanation. Talking to young people today is like talking to a brick, they don’t get it, they don’t see what’s wrong, they don’t know what works. They are like stooges waiting for Obama to call them to the revolution. Maybe showing more movies like this would show them how it could be and what made us great.

I got the special edition Rearden Steel blu-ray disc of the first movie because I didn’t catch it in the theater. This one I’m definitely seeing on the big screen with the surround sound and fresh popcorn.

Can’t wait!

Don’t forget they are doing these on shoestring budgets. Can’t contract actors for a long period with no money.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I had thought they might have quit this project after the first film.

Although I love the book and have read it several times I thought that the Movie part 1 was absolute crap. Virtually unwatchable. Just my opinion.

If this even gets released in the theater I will definitely go see it. The first one only played for a few weeks. There aren’t a-list actors in it, but the attempt is well worth it. The picky “purists” who have read and re-read the book will never be happy. How can you compare a movie to the one that “plays” in their heads? All in all, I can’t wait to see this second part and I hope they make enough $$ to finance the third.

Hollywierd just cannot seem to stick to any novel in its true form. They always have to “tweak” something from the writer’s original vision, usually to the detriment of the story.

The first movie was like that. By the looks of it, the second movie will be the same.
