this explains a lot. xsteen, at UD, had a number of latina friends of various gradations, one was actually FROM mexico. The group of them went to SA and the mexican would not go to the Alamo with them. What do we know, living up here in GRINGOville pretty much [and though we have plenty of hispanics they are largely from el salvador]. We had no idea there was such fierce opposition to the Alamo among that particular demographic.

The Alamo is one of the most important historical locations in the entire State of Texas and for this man to be Mayor of that city and have those feelings about the Alamo is just disgusting. Apparently that is my word for the day, disgusting.
