Tomorrow, just as the DNC Party has ended, the Government will release its monthly unemployment figures for August. It's a cinch the White House will force them to lie about it, but by how much? Let's guess!
My guess: the claim will be an additional 193,000 jobs created with the U3 unemployment falling to 8.1%. In another month, both will be quietly "revised."
Your guess?
120-130 k max according to CNN and UPI.
The whisper number is 150k so they will beat that number. My guess 200k. With a drop in the rate to 8.1%. The jobs number will be revised way down November 8th.
ADP is already reporting 201,000.
But at this point, don’t you think people have made up their mind about the direction of the economy?
The democrap convention is just the first rise indicating a tsunami of total bullshit to follow. Even though we hold the high ground, break out the wetsuits.
My guess is they claim it has dropped to 7.9%.
I think UE will stay the same...and the MSM will tout how great this is, ‘since more people are re-entering the workforce’.
7.9%
“My guess is they claim it has dropped to 7.9”
They can’t be that blatant...that would mean over 2 million jobs were added to the economy. (It was 8.3% in July).
I think it will stay the same, and be heralded as a success.

Shows the UE history. The BEST month of Barry’s presidency - his first month (what he ‘inherited’). Its been downhill since then.
They blatantly lie all the time. They tell so many lies, it is impossible to keep track.
Good analysis of ADP:

This week as I watch all of the Apollo history on various educational channels, I find myself trying to shake off the sense that it’s too late for anyone to fix what’s broken in this country.
400,000 people worked around the clock for nearly 10 years to place 12 men on the surface of the moon - Their average age? 26.
I have three wonderful children, but none of them are post-graduate material, as much as it pains me to say it. They all do extremely well in school, but it’s not because of genuine passion or curiousity - It’s because they know how the sytem works and how to make their teachers happy.
Nonetheless, at least two of them will get scholarships, go through college, and find there’s no job for them on the other side. We’ve allowed the myth that everyone deserves (or has the aptitude) for an advanced degree, as well as eroding the honor in unskilled/semi-skilled work though the influx of illegal labor that the professional market is flooded with empty-headed college grads who will be passed over for engineers from India and Russia who have made technology their passion.
Unemployment is easy. You do a cursory job search, get your check, and the bar keeps getting lowered while the unemployment deadlines keep getting extended.
Our freeway infrastructure is falling apart - How about your first three weeks of unemployment are free, and thereafter, to collect a check, you have to show up at a freeway work site for just 20 hours a week and haul wheelbarrows of asphalt, pick up litter, or perform some other form of expensive-but-mundane work AND get the weekly sign off from your foreman to continue getting government money?
The problems with an entitlement society go way deeper than any president can fix - Our culture is addicted to sloth, entitlement, and unrealistic expectations, and as such will throw out any politician that attempts to threaten that false sense of security.
I watched Starship Troopers the other night, and Paul Verhoeven(sp) was making an obvious satirical comment on the politics of fascism with his depiction of the world government, but I found one aspect of it to be fascinating: You could be a resident or a citizen - Only citizens can vote, and citizenship isn’t guaranteed by birth, only by service. This system ensured that only people who had contributed to society could direct it’s political future, policies, and resource distribution.
Call me a fascist, but that has a certain appeal to me...
Sorry for the rant/wall-of-text.
Certainly wouldn't happen in states where this work is mandated to be done by unionized employees.
My 89 year old dad swears we’re over the cliff & headed for the rocks with no way back.
History lesson.
I'm only 60. I still had hope until we got Romney....
It’s official. They lied. 93,000 new jobs but they dropped the unemployment figure to 8.1% by taking a lot of people out of the labor market. Lowest labor participation rate in 30 years. But it “dropped” to 8.1%!
