don't know what to do with this feeling in the pit of my stomach. Is it disgust? Is it anticipation? Or is it just flat-out wonder that food companies keep coming up with weird flavor combinations to titillate the Internetz and work everyone into a lather? It might be wonder, but in any case, we're probably going to have to get our hands on some of these golden candy corn Oreos for a Consumerist taste-testing in the near future.
Buzzfeed first noted the existence of the Halloweeny Oreos after they were snapped by a Target employee and Kraft confirmed that yes, we will be able to purchase them in stores as of Sept. 10.
If anyone out there bravely grabs a package before our team gets to them, feel free to let us know via tips@consumerist.com or in the comments how the whole thing turns out. The suspense is already killing me, seven minutes after learning these exist.

I’m eating Candy Corn white chocolate M&M’s while reading this.
THis has wrong written all over it. Just sounds absolutely gross... only way to make it worse is to deep fry them. (Deep-Fried Doublestuff Oreos are actually awesome, though!)
An Oreo is near perfection, why do they have to keep messin with it?
I’m a big fan of limited edition Oreos. The Creamsicle flavor is dreamy and the sherbert flavor is good too.
But candy corn is gross. These will probably be gross, too.
I would rather get an apple for Halloween than candy corn. I’m allergic to apples...
...saw many an opened package of Malomars on the university convenience store shelves every Friday and Saturday night around 1 a.m. or so...
Agreed. Of all the new flavors and gimmicks they’ve come up with over the years, not one can hold a candle to the plain ol’ original Oreos.
Does Michelle know about the Oreos and Malomars? I don’t think she would approve...for your own good.
It could be worse. How about using those nasty carnival peanut things?
Candy Corn? What?.....water and fertilizer aren’t enough? Now you have to give candy to corn? What’s next?.....cookies for rutabagas?
Yuk...I heard somewhere that they made the last batch of candy corn in 1938. The nasty stuff just keeps being recirculated after its cleaned out of coat pockets, candy dishes and trick-or-treat bags.
Only candy worse than candy corn is circus peanuts.
If you eat a salted peanut, and candy corn at the same time, it will taste like a snickers bar.
I love the stuff. LOL
After Kraft came out with the homosexual rainbow Oreo cookies, that was enough for us. We stopped buying them.
I picked up my 2 elementary school aged daughters this afternoon from school and stopped by a Super Target for some shopping. Right pass the door entering the premises there was a section of discounted items. Low and behold right up front were Candy Corn Oreo cookies! My girls wanted them but the thought of it was disgusting. So we passed on it...
