tonight's show 1am - 5am ET 10pm - 2am PT Terrorism Threat Sat 09-08
In the first half, Philip Marshall, a veteran airline captain, will give an update on the connections between the Saudi intelligence community and the 9/11 hijackers.
Then, author and nuclear terrorism expert Robert Gleason will join John B. Wells to discuss how for the past ten years the United States has been relatively free from major terrorism events, but the threat is higher now than it ever has been.
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I dont add you to the list...
“Might be a good show tonight..”
“Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!”
I don’t understand. Are you saying it will be good show because it is an interesting farce or because it might be of some informational value?
I have heard some of Well’s programs before. He is quite an interesting person and he does give you thought provoking issues to consider. Just asking....
I’m not a great fan of John B Wells. The deep, deep voice doesn’t appeal to me. I like George Noory an George Knapp. That said, this particular subject matter is interesting.
Wells - amazing voice but never preps for shows. Apparently he never reads and simply coasts along on his amazing pipes.
None of them are anywhere how good Art was...!
Thanks for the head’s up.
Precisely.
Coast to Coast AM got bumped off 579 KLIF in DFW some time back. I’ll have to check the website to see if it’s still on a station within range of Big D.
yup the ding dongs will be out in full force....
I’m in Silicon Valley. Can I get the local stations? Nooooooo! I end up listening to KFI in LA, KMJ in Fresno or KOGO in San Diego.
I love John Wells’ voice! Also love George Noory; always so respectful even when the guest is 100% nutz. Interesting/entertaining show with a great guest once in a while.
I agree.
I find the topics interesting, but George seems to have moved away from some of the nuttier stuff.
Not that I’m saying he’s wrong to do so - the show has sometimes gotten a big more credible now than before, but I do sort of miss the bigfoot reports and stuff like that.
I am very pleased with Mr. Wells and have emailed him several times to say so.
I also emailed him as I have emailed and fast-blasted Noory and the producers when the Bush-bashing gets monotonous. It's mostly from guests but Noory has called Bush a war criminal. Art Bell, a Bush critic, even distanced himself from Noory's trashing of President Bush when Art was still around doing week-ends. Noory did mention Obama's birth certificate once years ago and he did do one show critical of Obama for signing the NDAA. Occasionally a guests makes a critical remark about Obama
.. why does it matter? Listeners to C2C vote. Thank goodness for some balance from Mr. Wells.
Wells generally seems to lean toward suspicion of Obama.
I look forward to Wells shows. Red Eye has replaced C2C for me during the week days. Red Eye does not claim to be nonpartisan.. it is clearly conservative. Red Eye needs to get week-end hosts if it wants to finish off C2C. The long-time announcer switched to Red Eye.. maybe Mr. Wells will do the same. :)
Damn...you must have one helluva receiver. When I lived in L.A., I just barely get KOGO on a good night. If the wind was right. And the moon was full.
The Disney docudrama, “Path to 9-11”, censured.
Ah, glad you cleared that up.
;-)
Is C to C archived for later listening on the internet? I think we have a working radio but it’s pathetic since we live far away from wherever radio comes from.
Yes, I think my receiver is from hell. I can’t get local stations unless they are in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, or are covering sports minutia is excruciating detail. those and the odd religious broadcast come through loud, crystal clear and across wide tuning ranges.
The Fresno, LA and SD stations come in with massive interference, in astonishingly narrow and fussy dial settings and frequently drift into total unintelligibility at random.
