An actress in the movie about the Prophet Muhammad that sparked outrage across the Middle East on Tuesday and Wednesday said she will sue the filmmaker and that the film's script, titled "Desert Warriors," focused on life 2,000 years ago.
Cindy Lee Garcia told Gawker that she called the film's writer and director, who has now gone into hiding, when she saw the protests and his quotes in the media.
"'Why did you do this?' and he said, 'I'm tired of radical Islamists killing each other. Let other actors know it's not their fault,'" she told Gawker. "I'm going to sue his butt off."

WTF? This woman needs her head examined. What kind of statement is that? C’mon, we all want them to NOT STOP killing each other, what a useful idiot in more ways than one!
She’s an actress in the movie and she didn’t know it would offend the Muslim population until now. What a friggin dope!

She’s supposedly quoting the director. Doesn’t make any sense that way either!
The Yahoo story contains not a word about what grounds she thinks she has for a lawsuit, and also nothing about the supposed ‘deception’. That is NOT a quote, BTW, in spite of it being in the story title. She never used the words deceived or deception.

A self-described militant Christian activist named Steve Klein - a consultant on the film - informed the Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg that there were Copts and evangelicals involved in the making of the movie.
Cindy thinks she sees a WOO here and is apparently going to go for it! I knew another "Cindy" who went for it and was used and abused by the left. Same thing will happen with this "Cindy" if she gets that far!

OK, I'm even confused now!?. Is she talking about his "quotes in the media," or making the film, when she asked, 'Why did you do this'? (I think the "?" after the quote marks is correct for all the GN's out there.)
Being part of the movie I would hope she would've known, 'why' he made the movie.
I think a jury of 25 years ago might have been more lenient.
She was just happy to have an “acting” job, it’s all about the money, don’t have a clue what her underlying cause of action should be.
And besides, Debka says the video was a signal to do the 9-11 outrage in Libya, so she was actually working for al Quaida.
Deal with it, Ms. “actress”.
They should start by looking for the guy who used to direct the "bad television" spoofs on SCTV. I think he's involved.
She’s trying to protect herself from Jihadis AND increase her exposure to help her “career”. A snowballs chance in post-nuclear Iran for both.
