The DNC had a limited budget.

I wonder if it wasn’t produced by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and National Security as a disinformation project.

If I remember correctly, the Danish cartoon incident was spiked up my Muslims adding in far more inflammatory cartoons and distributing them widely. You could be right, that this is all done inside Islam to whip people up into making 9/11 attacks.

The train bombings in Spain were supposedly retaliation for Muslims being thrown out of Spain in 1532 (or whenever that was).

An internet hoax by the jihadists and our government fell for it? That is worse than shameful. It reminds us of the many instances of aggrieved homosexuals who have slurs written on their doors or persons by “homophobes”....and are revealed later to have done it themselves.

If our government is really this gullible in our dangerous world, we are sunk.

My thoughts exactly. As I said in another post: The 'film' is not at the level of Lawrence of Arabia or even the worst professional movie released in the United States in my memory. It's more like a middle school "art" project made by a particularly inept kid with no time for script, plot, or other frills. It's a string of dumb scenes and insults to Islam, but it does not actually entertain or inform the viewer (yes, I watched it). Where did such a pathetic film come from and why? My guess: the film was created as a provocation by the Muslim Brotherhood. It certainly didn't come from our side.

“...The piece is a parody of itself!...”

No, it is a nuanced stylistic art house production showing the absurdity of Mohammedanism by its overt simplicity.

So far it looks like a Middle Easterner, supposedly a Coptic Christian, and a really flaky, devious, unscrupulous, whacked out activist, and criminal weirdo.

Just this week:

CRUCIFIX MASTURBATION FILM WINS Venice Film Festival

http://www.catholicleague.org/crucifix-masturbation-film-wins/

The DNC made and DNC/YouTube released anti muslim flick is fake.

It’s purpose is to take focus off of US economy.

Supposedly it was made by Copts. It opens with a scene of Muslims destroying the clinic of a humane Christian doctor and killing or knocking out a young Christian woman.

Then the doctor, I think, starts telling the story of how Islam began to a young girl. After that it got so unwatchable I quit after the oral sex exorcism scene. It’s so lame as to have no purpose but to anger Muslims - it’s not effective mockery, it’s not convincing argument, it’s just lame and offensive.

And it looks like a great way to get Copts killed in Egypt. Why would Copts make this movie? Blood of martyrs to nourish the Church?

All the evidence seems to point to it being a rather nutty and criminally minded Coptic Christian. But really this was just a pretext. It was a tempest in a teacup until the Muslim Brotherhood and the governments of Egypt, Libya and Yemen thought it would serve their purposes.

The fervor was directed and designed to whip up the mob into a frenzy to coincide with 9-11 AND (it increasingly looks like) a coordinated planned attack using the mob as cover.

Egypt, Libya and Yemen cannot even pretend to have a free press.

The Egyptian President, who was quick to tell us that WE needed to do something about some nut making a glorified home movie about Muhammad, quite infamously cracked down on any semblance of independent media in Egypt.

There is a reason why this obscure movie became MUCH MORE FAMOUS in the Middle East than it would have otherwise EVER have been in America (where we at least value good production professionalism) - and that is because the governments in Egypt, Libya and Yemen WANTED it to be famous.

They acted as the publicity agents for this obscure home movie - then tell US that we have to do something about it.

How about if WE tell THEM to shut the hell up about what some obscure nutbag does in America?

They incite a riot on 9-11 using this obscure home movie as the flimsiest of pretexts - and our media plays along either blithely unaware of or entirely uninterested in the fact that nobody in the Middle East (or anywhere else for that matter) would have ever heard of the ‘film’ if not for the publicity given to it via full and direct approval of the governments of Egypt, Libya and Yemen.

Yes it was juvenile to say the least, but look who is rioting over it, certainly not Islamic rocket scientists. Mullahs Sheiks, Ayatollahs, need job security so what ever works to keep them in business works for them.

I had pretty much the same reaction yesterday. It’d take a lot of money and influence to pull this off...not meaning the production values of this sham film, but the massive funds that must have been needed to hire fake directors and producers, fake screenings, etc...

Who do we know with that kind of pull on the left?

George Soros.

This was planned to enrage the Muzzies, then they cause a ruckus, then Obama could have appeared as if he’s being tough on terrorists. The major backfire here though was Chris Stevens’ death, so now there’s a scurry of evidence-destroying and evidence-planting going on to hide the likely Soros connection.

I think this Steve Klein guy was brought in to be the fall guy for the whole mess.

Could well be, nobody knows at the moment. It was reported to have been produced by an Egyptian, a Mr. Nakoula, who claims to be a Coptic Christian. But he also may be the "Israeli Jew" director of the film, "Bacile" since the director's name just happens to be one of the aliases used by the producer.

"Nakoula has also reportedly used several aliases, including Nicola Bacily and Erwin Salameh."

"One of the actresses who says she was tricked into being in the film says Bacile told her on set that he was Egyptian, and that he spoke Arabic to other men present." Source

Thanks but I didn’t need to see the video after reading the account below a couple of days ago.

Someone mentioned Idiocracy on another thread regarding our muslim infested government. The northern territories of Mali are really there. Or making an effort, in some cases, to pull back from there.

On the other hand, making an effort to pull back from Idiocracy may offend the serious muslims which would give them an excuse to kill the not so serious muslims after they gain control of moderate Mali.

From http://www.ohio.com/news/world/radical-islamists-struggle-to-run-northern-mali-1.331229

DAKAR, SENEGAL: The radical Islamists who control northern Mali appear incapable of managing basic services — including electricity, water and schools — and in some cases are asking for the return of state functionaries to run them, according to a delegation that went to the region for talks recently...

...”They asked for the state to resume its functions, because it’s too complicated for them to manage,” said Daouda Maiga, who used to run a state development program in Kidal, a region of nearly 70,000 people before the Islamist takeover emptied it. “They are not used to running things.”...
