I never post about politics on FB anymore. I post pics of my family, my band, and music videos. But I could not let this one go. This is what we are up against, folks..

And when you kill Christians and adherents of other iterations of Islam, bomb churches, rummage through their baggage at the airport, confiscate the infidels’ Holy Book and burn them all at once in one huge bonfire, plot to kill Americans, Israelis and Jews, don’t allow churches or Jews in Saudi Arabia, lie to us about the true conspiracy of Islam because it is permitted to lie to the infidels, otherwise known as Taqiya, kill your sisters and daughters because it is the honorable thing to do (whoever in their right mind would ever believe that the word “killing” could ever follow the word “honor” and to some would make complete sense), we know it’s all part of the religion of peace, Praise Allah and his holy messenger the Prophet Muhammud.
Fortunatley, most of the comments are as outraged as mine. And now I will go back and post more pics of my grandson and pics from the band we saw last night, The Gateway Ramblers.
I have seen FB political battles get crazier than some of the threads here. remember the Schivo threads? The Rudibot threads? Those got out of hand,but nothing like some of the ones on FB, mostly gay marriage proponents calling everyone haters.
The thing is, I love my FB, it is a great place for family and friends, and music..
Politics is the main reason I deactivated my FB account. I'm a sucker for a stupid liberal post and couldn't keep my fingers off the keyboard. A dear, old friend from high school is now a liberal activist in Florida and we hate each other after my Facebook foray.
I'd like to go in and actually delete my account, but logging in a for so much as a minute means a flood of "are you back?" and "he's back!"
Ugh.

LOL!! Reminds me of the final straw that drove me to delete my FB account years ago—the “teenage philosophers”.
The other day I was involved with an interesting exchange on FB with two married guys - married to each OTHER - who apparently are FB friends with my cousin. They were explaining to me that religious people should keep from judging others because of this type of violent reaction.
I replied to them that at least in THIS country women can have opinions and men can have alternative life styles and no one comes hunting them down to saw off their heads with dull sword blades.
After that, crickets......
