I also thought that it out an outer-space directed phenomenon. with good aliens and bad aliens, with collaboration with certain earthlings. I hope it is not going to be as stale as the first V.
Speaking of The Event. What did you think about the last thing the president's wife said, when the space craft appeared:”we're home.” Gosh, I wish they finished up that series. It was so involving!

The president’s wife sure seemed to imply that she was one of the aliens, even though she had denied it! That show had so many possibilities.

One show I really think about prepper stuff is The Walking Dead. They do a lot of things that I would not do or I would do differently, but it does make me think. Pretty gory show, though.

try Earth Abides. Cant stop thinking about that book. A meteor strike hits, and its told from what happens in the LA basin. I could relate

Correct! I never finished it. The emptiness of his experience was too eerie and kind of boring for me. I do remember him walking around with a hammer or something, in order to break into buildings and get things he needed. Which brings me to the real name of the book I enjoyed so: Lucifer's Hammer. That would make a great mini-series. And it even had a determined mail carrier, of all things. Could it have been the inspiration for the Kevin Costner's flick, The Postman?

Just guessing. I hope they show us all that stuff in between. Maybe they had an old Quonset hut in the neighborhood, that used to be the temporary elementary school, and right before the big fizzle out, someone thought to use that as a huge Faraday cage. They pushed in all the electronics and when it was safe, they distributed it to all the “keepers of the past” to lock up in their attics. After all no on would think to look in a room that had three locks on it. Give us entertainment we can use.

Poor girl, she was running out of clothes and still had to wear the same shirt she had when she was 8. Look how it shrunk and shows her belly.
And the Google guy, as a teacher, they must pay him lots of the corn they grow on their cul de sac. because look at his gut. It's also amazing that they once made concert T's in XXXL. As far as barbarism, I guess steroids are still manufactured or there is some kind of mutant formation going on, because look at the pumped torso on her would-be resucer.
