Rasmussen Reports released a new poll on Monday that shows that "Democrat Tim Kaine has moved slightly ahead of Republican George Allen in Virginias neck-and-neck U.S. Senate race."
The telephone survey of 500 likely Virginia voters shows support for Kaine at 47%, 2 points ahead of Allen, whose support is at 45%. The margin of error for the poll is 4.5%.
Last week, a poll by Gravis Marketing showed Allen with a 5 point lead.

Virginia is a must win in both races
Of course he is. He’s a commie ‘RAT ain’t he? While the rest of us are out busting our asses at work, The Entitled are sitting by their phones all day waiting for the pollsters to call.
A 4.5 MoE poll is pretty lousy. Sorry Rassmussen, way too much open space in that poll.
"Did Muslim Vote In Virginia Swing Senate Control?" (Nov 2006)
'The Detroit Free Press reports Muslims played a critical role in the November midterm elections.'
Imam Mahdy Bray, Speaking at a Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America convention in Dearborn, highlighted the effective effort to turn out Muslim voters in Virginia:
The effort was so organized that Muslim taxi drivers in northern Virginia took the day off to ferry Muslims to the polls, said Imam Mahdy Bray, a speaker at the convention. Volunteers also made phone calls to Muslims in Virginia to urge them to vote, he said.
As a result, Democrat James Webb ousted incumbent Republican George Allen by about 9,000 votes in a race in which 50,000 Muslims went to the polls -- 47,000 of them voting for Webb, Bray said.
For my money Senator Allen gets all the credit for running a losing campaign. Nevertheless, if 96 percent of Muslims are going to vote Democratic, that would make them a more reliable Democratic constituency than African Americans. Democrats consistently receive only about 90 percent of African American votes.

It is absolutely imperative every conservative get out and vote. The sand heads will all vote demorat.
This is hard to take. If Kaine wins the Commonwealth is officially lost and you might as well move the Mason-Dixon line.
I believe all of the polling organizations have been compromised, including Rasmussen.
We can question polls but we also need to question our campaign performance. Our side just isn’t making a good case in these elections. The left has spent the last twelve months redefining the situation as partisan bickering and it seems to be working. Our side, starting with the debt increase debate last year let things get redefined. I felt like the crappy economy would outweigh this issue, but beginning to wonder.
If the election were held today, the GOP is toast.
I wonder how many sand heads will turn out this coming Nov in Virginia to vote straight demorat ticket? :(
You're entirely incorrect.
