“Do you agree with Mitt Romney’s assessment that 47 percent of Americans see themselves as victims?”
not that they would be trying to influence the poll or anything...

I just walked in on CNN in our break room and they’ve got a bunch of charts up breaking down who pays taxes and who’s on government assistance. They’re trying to spin, of course, but it’s up there for all to see... they’re showing how nearly half of the country either doesn’t have a dog in the fight (don’t pay income tax) or depend on government (receive assistance) or both.

When you take all the people on Welfare:
When you take all the people on Food Stamps;
When you take all the people on Unemployment;
When you take all the people on Medicare (which they helped pay for);
When you take all the people on Social Security (which they helped pay for);
When you take all the people on Medicade (which they did NOT help pay for);
When you take all the people on Disability:
When you take all the people on subsidised Rent Programs:
I am astounded that they all only add up to 47%
Only an Idiot would not agree with Romney !!

“A Nation of Takers: America’s Entitlement Epidemic”
‘Entitlements will be one of, if not the, key issue in the Presidential election this year. In this book, one of Americas foremost economists and demographers puts together a handy, brief, accessible guide that includes, for the first time, all the data on the growth of entitlements in America over the past 50 years.
Shows clearly the present day and future impact of entitlement growth on American culture and economy.
Includes easy-to-read, four color charts throughout the book that show growth of specific entitlements, including, medicare, social security, and disability payments.
A nation of Taker’s also contains a response to the data from William A. Galston and Yuval Levin, two of Americas leading political theorists.
Nick Eberstadt, William Galston, and Yuval Levin are highly regarded experts on political and economic issues and are regularly called on by the media to explain complex economic issues.’

Gee whiz! All that website is as ads, pop-up ads, ads at the bottom of the screen, ads on both sides, ads along the top so that all you see are ads, and, oh yeah, let’s throw an article or two and a poll in the middle. By the way, did you see our ads?
