Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) came out in opposition to Mitt Romney's controversial remarks on the "47 percent."
Brown, who has been distancing himself from elements of the Republican Party, joins GOP Senate candidate in Connecticut Linda McMahon in coming out against the statements.
"That’s not the way I view the world. As someone who grew up in tough circumstances, I know that being on public assistance is not a spot that anyone wants to be in. Too many people today who want to work are being forced into public assistance for lack of jobs," he said in an email to The Hill.
Brown said that the large volume of Americans receiving public assistance and the growth in the food stamp program are part of the reasons he's running for Senate, as Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren's policies would lead to hundreds of thousands of lost jobs.

Nah, he’s just running for election in a blue state. His comments merely tailored to fit that reality.

I’m tired of that guy. If it weren’t so damned important to take control of the Senate, I’d be hoping he loses. Not that he can be counted on half the time, but she can’t be counted on any of the time.
So, he doesn’t like the facts that were cited or he doesn’t like citing facts?
Senator Brown believe’s anything conservative “goes too far.” That’s why I refuse to vote for him. I’ll vote for Romney in November. The executive power vested in Obama is just too dangerous to take chances with. But Brown is just another sellout legislator. And so I’ll leave his office blank on my ballot.

But sooo very electable with full support of GOP-e. Applied to him “clueless” loses its sting. Talk about a useful one . . And this is to what we stoop to achieve a majority?
