Last time that happened was in the late 90’s.
It’s happening again, now. Is it a warning or a watch? there is a big difference. Severe thunderstorm warnings too? We have this all the time in the south. Most of the time just good sleeping weather. There were two tornadoes last week in NYC so you aren’t immune. Keep an eye on the local radar and good luck to you
