Overview & Cast
Great cast. Haven’t seen this one, so thanks for the ping.
“When she thinks her husband has been unfaithful, a woman claims to be having an affair of her own.”
A Comedy? or does this end up in attempted murder with chain saws, mallets, and other tools we’ve seen in the news this week.
TCM is more than half of what we watch on TV.
1953 same title, different story, but I liked the cast:

I read the synopsis, sounds like it could be good.
And on Sunday morning at 8 AM EDT, Boys Town with Spencer Tracy and Micky Rooney is coming on.
What made classic movies classic were the supporting casts....ya know, those sometimes nameless second and third bananas whose faces were and still are as familiar as your own.
Some of the best were Peter Lorre, Marjorie Main, Adolph Menjou, Guy Kibee, Marie Dressler, Frank Morgan, Eric Blor, Beulah Bondi, Billie Burke, Frank McHugh and one of my favorites (along with Lorre, who was SO good), Edna Mae Oliver. Who can ever forget Dame Oliver in the house-burning scene in "Drums Along the Mohawk" (one of my five all-time favorite films, by the way)
Most of today's movies don't lure me to a theater at all. There's hardly any notable character actors any more who have even a drop of 'unique character' in supporting roles. Heck, I don't even recognize most of the starring leads, either. The girlie-looking, stubble-chinned actors and the vacant-faced, lank-haired actresses all look and act pretty much alike to me.

There was also timeless writing, directing, cinematography, casting, etc.
