I was setting up Thunderbird in Linux and added an email account that I haven't used in a LONG time..

I noticed an email (from June this year) from someone I know and opened it up and received this as a forward:

The Law Of The Wild says kill ONLY when you are hungry

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya 's Masai Mara in October last year, said he was astounded by what he saw:

"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said. 'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together. 'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'."

These extraordinary scenes followed.

and then they just walked away without hurting him..........

Life is short... forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably...and never regret anything that made you smile

It is a shame that I missed the email, but I am glad I found it to share with you all now :^)

That is cool.

Though if I was an impala and had a cheetah licking my throat, I may get a bit nervous what was coming next.............

Vegetarians, and card-carrying PETA members. They took a wrong turn at ABQ!

Apparently their mother didn’t teach them not to play with their food.

“The Law Of The Wild says kill ONLY when you are hungry.”

Wolves in the northern Rocky Mtn states, relatively recently introduced (a Canadian variety not previously resident there, some say) at the insistence of liberal activists, seem very much non-observant of this Law. They will kill sheep seemingly just because they are available, and its so easy, then move on and leave the dead uneaten.

So if cheetahs stop eating meat, what do they eat?

I was wondering if this situation would have an effect on the poor Impala in the future (wrong impression about cheetahs) >.<

If those aren’t photoshopped, I’ll eat my hat.

How often do they have to get a new impala fawn so tourists can take pictures?

They used to have a display in the old circus "10 in 1" that was a cage with a lion and a lamb, demonstrating the corrupted Bible passage. (Isaiah 11.6, to spare you the research.) They also didn't say how often they fed the lion, and how many times they had to replace the lamb...

It may not always be so, but that's the way to bet.

......“The Law Of The Wild says kill ONLY when you are hungry........Its not the law for several animals...put a coon in a chicken coop and he will eat one and kill the rest just for the sake of killing them. They also kill over territory and females, but that law of the wild sounds good even if not true...must have been said by someone brought up on Disney/liberal

The second picture above shows one of the cheetahs pouring salt and pepper on the little impala, getting it ready for dinner later, when they become hungry.

They’re not photoshopped. But the series is missing the last photo, which is quite bloody and shows a satisfied pride of cheetah.

Interesting photos - astounding even. But . . .

The Law Of The Wild says kill ONLY when you are hungry

Whoever made that one up has never seen wild animals. All sorts of critters from Wolves down the housecats kill for the sheer pleasure. Put a well-fed mink in a henhouse some time and send the photos to this yahoo.
