Sports Vanity: Can the New Orleans Saints be considered as the worst team in the NFL?
Posted on 09/24/2012 10:05:04 AM PDT by fourth and three
They are 0-3, and have lost all 3 games whose only victory came against them.
BTW, I say this as a life long saints fan.

Yep, the Browns are pretty bad.
In fact, there are rumors circulating here in North East Ohio that the Browns are up for sale. Word is that a syndicate of filipino business men who want to buy the Browns. Their intention is to move the team to the Philippines and re-name them The Manilla Folders.

Overheard on the PA system at Browns Stadium, “Will the mother of the two kids on the field please come and get them, they’re beating the Browns 14-0.”

You remember, the year that they won the Super Bowl was a record-setting cold winter.
That’s because hell froze over and there was no fire down below.
It was always said that hell would have to freeze over for the Saints to win the Super Bowl.

The Cleveland City Council just past emergency legislation allowing Browns players to get Handicapped tags for their cars.

My dad has termed the Browns "America's Homecoming Team". Because they're like that team every high school wants to play on homecoming day. One that guarantees a win, and hence a fun dance and party afterward.

No. The Browns are worse. And I’m a Browns fan.

Combined record of Saints beaters: 3 - 6 (all three wins against the Saints)
Combined record of Browns beaters: 6 - 3
So far this year, I would say the Saints have the worst showing.

Saints were never a worst team, that would have been the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in that era. I ask you to remember who the Bucs achieved their first victory against, and in a pretty dominating manner.

Gave $100 million to Breeze who has thrown 6 interceptions.Breez is no good .
Peyton manning also is messing up with the Broncos. And they paid peyton so much and got rid of that Christian quarterback for this creep lol.
I know more about football than all these coaches and fans put together . but I won't list what they should do to win. I should get paid for it. lol

I think it was against the Saints and they pasted 28 points or so on them at the end of their second season.
Just before the paper sack days.
(nb, I am working from memory as a Rams fan who worried little about th ‘aints in those days.)
Favorite quotation from John McKay, 1st Bucs coach:
Q: What do you think of your team’s execution?
A: I’m all for it!!

I’d say the Browns and Dolphins are worse and I don’t care that Miami won 2 weeks ago...they blow.

They’re a bunch of dirty bastards - they go for the knees on every other tackle.

Diehard Cowboys fan here since 1977....their pre-season rookies played better than their starters are playing. I see a .500 season at best.

Hard to believe as bad as those early Bucs teams were, they actually did make it to the 1979 NFC Championship Game.

They couldnt run, they couldnt pass, and they couldnt block. But they made up for it all by not tackling!
